Hi! Call me Stefi! I'm a bit awkward, but I don't bite, I promise. :)
Pre-Nursing student. I've changed my major many, too many, times to count, but I am planning on staying on this path until the end! I do, however, hope that I could squeeze in a math minor, or the like, as I've recently discovered that I quite enjoy it-even if I'm not quite sure what I could do with it?
When I was younger, I used to write letters often, but I've since become a bit socially awkward and lost many friends due to time or just from moving around a significant amount. In the future, I hope to continue my education beyond nursing! The material that I'm learning now is interesting, but I'm still not 100% certain that I'll like being a nurse; but my goal is to become a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner. After high school, I thought that I was going to go into art (despite never having taken any art classes? cocky, I know..) but, while I liked art and the people who make art, it didn't give me that "full" feeling. It's taken a few years, but now I realize that (even if I fought it for the longest time) I was meant to follow in the footsteps of my parents and pursue a career in medicine.
Art is a big part of my life. It's probably what shaped me into the person I am today. It's not what I want to spend my entire life doing, but I would like to continue making art for the rest of my life, if that makes sense? It's what helps me to relax when I've had enough of school, and my creative outlet. It's also helped me to make wonderful friends and continues to help me discover myself.
There are many dreams I have yet to achieve, including being able to speak and write in French, travelling around the world, and falling in love, but I know that I may not be able to achieve them all, and that's alright. But I'll go down trying!
I stumbled across this website a few years ago while searching for pen-pals; or more specifically, when I was looking for websites where people found partners to swap those boxes with mixed candies! I've been on and off on this site now since 2013 just about. I only have a few swaps under my belt, (and they're all e-mail swaps), but I've had a great time with them and I hope to do more in the future!
I promise that I don't talk this much about myself often, but I'm not really sure what normally goes here? I feel a bit weird divulging this much information about myself all at once, but hopefully someone will be able to relate to something up there. LOL
Chromeo, Mystery Skulls and Sia: they never get old for me! There are many more artists that I like, but these three are constantly on my playlists. I also like k-pop! My bias is B1A4 and has been ever since I watched them on "Hello Baby!" I'm not really up to date, or overly concerned with upkeep like I was a few years back in HS, but they will always be my first boyfriends! (Second only to the Backstreet Boys... lol)
The Book Thief (Markus Zusak), The Thief Lord (Cornelia Funke), The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray (Chris Wooding), Twelfth Night (Shakespeare), The Chocolate Thief (Laura Florand), Ithaka (Adèle Geras)
Romance is great, Historical Romance is even better. Throw in mythology or the mob, and I'm sold.
Robots and all of the Tolkien movies, as well as many children's films and anything romantic, comedic, or both! Anything fantastical and has good music is good, too. Strange Magic is one of my guilty pleasures... on one hand, I love the contrast between Bog and Marianne... on the other hand, the music... it's not bad, but it's so corny!!
I re-watch Robots at every chance I get. I don't know why. It's been an inspiration to me since I started college. I've played it so many times that my brother HATES it. But I can't help but fall in love with it every time that I watch it, and I never want to forget it.
BBC Sherlock, In the Flesh, Steven Universe, The Legend of Korra, Bee and Puppycat, New Girl, the Magicians, Gravity Falls
Legend of Korra was my LIFE for the longest time!! I ship everyone and everything, although I'm so happy with who she ended up with at the end! I loved the story too, of course! I've been with Avatar since the Last Airbender!
Pokemon, Diablo III, Dragon Age Inquisition, Undertale, and al of the Professor Layton games up until Miracle Mask!! I love puzzles, and RPGs! I don't play video games that often as I used to (I even tried making a few!), but I still love these. Pokemon is such a huge part of my childhood, and I should really finish some of the games I have.. haha!
