I'm a 40-something year old who lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I've lived here the majority of my life, but ventured to Florida for about six months when I was younger. But, I'm just one who loves the small town vibe so I came back.

I'm a pretty easy going person and try not to let much get to me. I'm sarcastic and stubborn, but also pretty quiet most of the time. I'm not one to venture out to busy places that often. I prefer hanging out with 1-2 people or my animals.

Speaking of the furry ones, animals are pretty much my favorite thing. I work at an animal shelter and have two dogs and three cats at home.

I like a little bit of everything. My playlists are all over the place from 50s to 80s, country to heavy metal. I don't really have any favorites, but listen to whatever best matches my mood at the time.

Ahhh books. My love of books is only secondary to my love of dogs. :) I have no favorite genre, but if I had to pick, it would be fantasy and science fiction. I have tubs of books totaling about 600 in my "book room" at home and another 1,200 on my Kindle. I am determined to finish them all someday!

Gone with the Wind, Neverending Story, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Love Actually, Alice in Wonderland (made for TV movie in the 80s).

I know there are more, but I am drawing a blank at the moment.

Charmed (original series. I haven't watched the new one yet), Supernatural, The Rookie, Sense8 (so sad when Netflix ended it), Cooking show like Top Chef, etc., Vampire Diaries, Handmaids Tale

It seems like a lot of the shows I like are no longer on, but I still like to stream them.
