I am a disabled old lady in mid-coast Maine who likes to spend time watching youtube videos, creating junk journals & Im a dedicated Swiftie over 50. Wanna trade a bracelet?! Here are a few of the ones Ive made and traded already. I love making them.
I love all types of crafts, but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE paper crafts! I am currently very into making junk journals and I just LOVE to make embellishments/ephemera! I am disabled due to increasing medical issues that prevent me from venturing beyond my own four walls often so I watch a lot of YouTube and back in the day I was actually a crafty creator, although I have sadly taken quite a lot of that down.
I love things that are Celtic and am very into fairies & fantastical creatures like gnomes, brownies, dwarves, elves, LLAMACORNS... My fav animals are foxes, cats, guinea pigs, elephants, llamas, chickens and hedgehogs.
I don't collect much now due to limited space to either store or display things but enjoy fun scrapbook papers such as vellums and textured kinds like colored corrugated cardboard or Bazzil basics. I would LOVE an encyclopedia to deconstruct one day so pages from that kind of book, or botanical/wildflower book pages are always welcome. Also, I REALLY like Tim Holtz stuff - the whole line is FANTASTIC! It is so expensive... lol I also like metal stuff like fun paper clips, brads, eyelets & small charms that can add a nice touch to a project.
I spend time crafting along with youtubers and enjoy mass making embellishments and other things like small ephemera to use in my journals as well as share with my swap partners. I am also very jealous of the kits with digitals and am super sad that I cant take advantage of any freebie digitals as I don't have a printer.
I Love most all craft quality stickers, especially sayings, phrases or the ones I can use as embellishments in my journals like washi stickers. I don't care for or buy the dollar tree sheet style stickers but if I do happen to get some in a swap then they are usually used on my outgoing envelopes or as extras in happy mail. I do a lot of shabby chic and vintage/steampunk style so always enjoy that type of sticker, tape or embellishment.
I am an ordained minister but prefer to stay away from sending or receiving religious kinds of stuff. I like to be able to control the influx of that into my home, as my religious beliefs may not lie entirely in line with yours so I will only send these types of things if I have gotten them in a swap and only then I will pass them along.
.
I promise to ALWAYS send! I love to swap and because I am ALWAYS so excited at joining in, the swap is usually put together, packed, sealed and marked within hours of clicking the join link (unless it is a profile based swap, obviously). Then I am just awaiting partner assignments so I can get them out ASAPAA that means as soon as partners are assigned
Also, I promise to always rate as soon as I get your swap. If you find I have not rated you, please let me know and we can figure out why, together!
If I am sending you a crafty type swap, I may also include one of my "unfinished projects" for you to do whatever you would like with - finish it, deconstruct it or pass it along! Sometimes I just loose my mojo mid-project or even decide something else works better. I hope these will be welcome additions.
I am also willing to do private washi swaps with individual people. I am newbie friendly with this swap so if you are new - PM me - I love to help people start getting their ratings.
