Hi Carmen,
I am glad the post cards I made for your swap made it to you and that you liked them. Thank you sooo much for your awesome comment about them, makes me motivated to make a lot more.
Also, thank you for hosting the swap, great idea!
I have to agree with "Only in Cambodia" - your art is so personal and wondrous. The journal is just absolute perfection. I feel blessed to have been able to swap with you.
Wow! A gift from you, forget about the swapping part! An extremely unexpected and delightful surprise, you are such a dear Carmen. You are so talented, and I will enjoy your book of art every time I see it. I have shown it already to everyone around me. Your entire packet was a joy all the way around, and I appreciate it very much. I certainly look forward to further "shipped" communication between us in the future! Happy day to you, Annette
OH! And Wunderkammers! I took a class as an undergrad that focused on the whys and wherefores of collecting and Wunderkammers caught my fancy and never let go.
Post-Industrial decay... if you ever get to WV be sure to visit Cass Railroad. Take the train to the top of the mountain (a fun ride) and see the remains of the logging equipment that is rusting away up there. Gorgeous! Really! It is amazing. Also, my city, Pittsburgh, PA, has some fabulous post-industrial decay. Who would have thunk we would ever think this stuff beautiful?

Anything created by you should be cherished. You put so much of yourself into every piece you make. Every scrap is a piece of art.
