I am a crafty nut who has an array of fabrics, trims and buttons from Melbourne and Japan and look forward to a swap or a few hundred... It gets kinda addictive... I love Japanese fabrics & trims and my favourite colours are green and red. I also love vintage fabrics, trees and birds. I try to recycle fabrics where possible. My list of 'I like': COLORS: Green (esp. mint, moss & aqua) Red, bright colors. Combinations: dusky pink w/ olive green, red with aqua, grey with pink, green with anything… STUFF: japanese fabric, vintage fabrics, , zakka, hedgehogs, owls, birds, trees & leaves, patterns, bright coloured polka dots & stripes, ,notecards, greeting cards, stamps, ribbon, fabric covered vintage buttons and old wallpaper…
'I don't like': purple, anything Victorian style, religious matter & icons...
My daughter Indigo is now 10 (oh how time flies...) and her birthday is 15th December. She is crazy about glitter, papers, birds, squirrels, Hedgehogs, being independent, stickers, Letter writing sets, papers. She would be excited to receive anything in the mail! Especially with foreign stamps. Does anyone know have a penpal for her???
Mainly chick tunes; Missy Higgins, Adele, Aretha Franklin, Tracy Chapman, Tori Amos, Crowded House, Compilations of funk/jazz and my daughters pop preferences have found their way to my vocal chords on many a road trip! Many Australian bands too...
Where to start... Whale Rider, The Castle, The Big Blue, Betty Blue, Bridget Jone's Diary, Dirty Dancing, Footloose, Pretty in Pink, all the 80's classics. I am easily addicted to sets of tv series.
Offspring, The News, Cooking shows, Underbelly, Six Feet Under, Greys Anatomy still! How to get away with murder, Highlander, and am in dire need of series recommendations!
Japanese.... also sewing, jewellery, knitting, screenprinting etc. Must have busy hands...
Anything by: Haruki Murakami, Milan Kundera, Banana Yoshimoto, Yoshimoto Nara, Tim Winton. Nan Witcomb. I adore Japanese craft books...and many other craft books.

Oh! I wish I could give you a heart! Thank you for the unexpected surprise! I got it right after I hit a mean old man's truck, so yeah! I needed it! And you're a lovely swap recipient, too! I felt warm and fuzzy when I got your rating!
<3 <3 <3 There's three hearts that don't count for an awesome owl pouch that will most certainly house some vacation goodies!
