Knitting, crochet, fabric collage, crazy quilts, ATCs, altered books. Knitting is one of my favorite pastimes and usually how I convince myself it's OK to watch a little more TV --- as long as my hands are busy, right?

I have also made scrappy quilts and covered art journals, but would like to learn how to sew better to try more difficult quilting.

I love collecting ephemera to use in art projects and adore the scrappy/unfinished look -- raw edges and everything!

I have had the pleasure of attending local art retreats like ArtFiberFest and Madrona Fiber Arts, and always enjoy classes at my favorite LYS - Renaissance Yarns.

Where do I start? Favorite shows vary as new ones come out, but I especially enjoy:

I live in a suburb of Seattle, WA and work as an IT applications manager for a storage appliance company in downtown Seattle. I am a geek many times over: music, computer, fiber arts and puzzles!!!

I am married to a wonderful man who I adore (and it's mutual!). No kids yet, but we have a yellow lab, an Australian shepherd mix and a tortie kitty --- so we are outnumbered by the four-leggeds. Needless to say there is a lot of love and fur at the Weller house!
