Those cakes look AMAZING.. I've always wanted to learn to do that. I have a passion for baking, but never tried my hand at really getting into decorating. I should! Also.. those lucky cat earrings are SPLENDID! If I could wear normal earrings (I have 00 gauge flesh tunnels in my ears) I'd so NEED them! lol.
Don't be so discouraged by your first couple bad experiences. There will be lots more really great ones coming your way, I'm sure. Take it as a learning experience to now watch out for the swap hosts as well as other swappers, and to screen the swaps you participate in. When you are new, they all sound so wonderful, and you are just sure you won't get a chance to do them again, but trust me, everything comes around again! Good luck and have fun here! When you get a few more swaps under your belt, come check out some of the groups, most of them have minimum requirements before you can join, but then they are usually better at keeping out the bad swappers.

Just remember, there are good people here! Get yourself in some groups, girl!! Public swaps have a much higher mortality rate, so find some groups you like and swap there! I'm pretty sure there are several for jewelry makers and beadaholics (raises hand).

I saw your thread on the forums and wanted to say it's not always that way. I'm a newbie too, but I've received all but one of my swaps so far. Sometimes, it's just the luck of the draw. Better luck next time, and I hope you're not too discouraged.
