I am a person that likes most things. A little about myself: I work as an occupational therapy assistant in a nursing home, I have a wonderful husband of 28 years, 3 college aged children and one grandson, 6 dogs and 3 cats. It is a busy household, but I love it.

I like to make anything crafty that I can, as long as it requires the use of my hands. I find it very therapeutic. I also like to use any medium I can think of, so mixed media it is for me. I really enjoy using vintage or vintage looking objects in my projects. Ephemera is also a favorite crafting supply that I like to use.

Inspirational quotes are one of my favorite things to read as well as using in my art work. I also enjoy reading inspirational fiction, historical fiction, and mysteries.

I like to listen to the radio more than watch TV, so I usually have music on when I am working on a project or cleaning house.

My favorite time of the year is fall when the weather starts to cool down and the holidays begin. It is also the time for comfort food. I am not much of a cook or a baker, I leave that to my husband.

I look forward to meeting new people and gaining new inspiration from swapping.

I like all colors, so it is hard for me to pick a favorite.

Lately, I have been working on the art journal I made. My sister and I made 20 hand sewn journals for her friends. I also like to work with Sculpy clay. I am working on a Santa Claus that will stand about 24" when finished. I sculpted his face and hands and made his body with a wire armature that is covered. I have also made part of his clothing. I am also working on a floor cloth that is made of canvas with a painting of a lady in a bath tub on it. It will be used for my bathroom floor when it is completed.

I have spent many years sewing different things: halloween costumes for my kids, clothing, quilts, purses, crafts. I have an over abundance of fabric...I used to work in a fabric store and pretty much spent my paycheck there...lol.
