I’m a mom in Maine, USA. I run a children’s museum non-profit here. I love Maine, but I don’t mind visiting places with palm trees! I love my black labradoodle, Nook, my cat, Penguin, my family, and summertime! (not necessarily in that order) I also prefer British tv over American and have watched WAY too much Escape the the Chateau DIY.

Gifts are my love language and I just love to send and receive mail! I’ve been doing FB swaps, but have recently gotten into penpals and have been reminded about swap-bot and I’m happy to be here again!

If you don’t receive something on time from me, please let me know! This past Thanksgiving I sent my sister in Boston a letter and it didn’t arrive until mid-January! This is an anomaly and hasn’t happened again, but it’s possible! I will never mark “sent” until it is actually IN the mail box and has been picked up by the mail carrier.

I love to read- mostly historical romance and young adult fantasy. Luna Lovegood is my spirit animal. I read the Anne of Green Gables series every few years. I loved the Bridgertons before they were Netflix famous 😂 I enjoyed Bridgerton (the show) but don’t get me going on Anne With an E...

Journaling, working in my planner, and crafting makes me super happy. I’m just getting into memory journaling and I’m excited about that! My planner is a b6 Stalogy with lots of stickers, washi, markers and tip-ins. I have also recently started to watercolor and it’s a medium that I want to make more time for! I keep trying to get into art journaling but haven’t quite gotten up my brave.

Some things I like:

Washi, paper, sticky notes, envelopes of every shape and size, stickers, pens, card stock, pretty vellum and acetate...

Art- I am working on an art wall in my dining room. I love bright colors and simple patterns. Chickens are some of my favorite things on the planet and I also love anything natural- fruits, veggies, flowers, trees. I love horses, especially fat ponies. And tiny houses.

Animal crossing! My dog’s name is Nook, after all!

I love puzzles and word games. Coloring is fun and something I wish I did more often.

When the world was normal, I loved to go to Universal Studios Florida with my family. We are all big Harry Potter fans and butterbeer is divine!

I love to swim and play in the water. I think in my past life I was probably a mermaid.

I cannot eat gluten.

I LOVE coffee. I also love tea of all sorts and basically anything that you can drink hot. Especially during the long cold Maine winters!
