I recently moved from Washington State to Louisiana. I am a first year kindergarten teacher. I am getting married next summer, our wedding colors are crimson and grey (GO COUGS!) I like crossfit and love napping. My favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy. Elf is my favorite holiday movie. I do not eat gluten. Chocolate is my favorite food group.

I love to collect mugs and coffee cups - anything cute and original (I know these would be hard to mail, so think post cards with mugs on them).

As a teacher, I love to craft any and everything that I can use in my classroom. My classroom is blue and green with some fluffy monster decorations.

My current crafting revolves around anchor charts in my classroom, interactive lesson props and collecting monster themed note pads/sticky notes.

My fiance is really good at creating furniture so I am currently coming up with new ideas for him to make so I can paint and decorate them.

While I find all post cards exciting, I have a special happy place for the following:

-cards with a place/location on it (I would love to have a post card from every state in the US, maybe even multiple cities in every sate at some point).

-cards with nature on it (trees are my favorite)

-post cards with anything educational/teacher-y on it. I teach kindergarten :)

I love country music - I find that it makes my soul feel happy.

Norah Jones is my favorite relaxation/lay in bed and cry music.

Beyonce is my favorite getting ready/going out music.

I adore reading, but I am a teacher and currently spend most of my time reading books about classroom management, curriculum planning, culture building, being a culturally responsive teacher, etc.
