I am a 40-year-old queer femme living in the rainy Pacific Northwest. I'm a creator of all sorts (sewing, baking, watercolor, etc) and these days I far prefer quiet time at home working on a project to just about anything else.

Knitting & sewing - I knit sweaters, socks, LOTS of lace, some brioche & mosaic. I enjoy sewing clothing for myself - currently I have comfortable and colorful dresses and jumpsuits in my queue

Collage/papercraft - I do a lot with collage & watercolor, and sometimes lead community events involving creating multi-media art, so I maintain a fairly sizeable stash, including lots of thrifted/repurposed supplies.

Baking & cooking - I bake all sorts of things, and would love to receive your favorite recipes, particularly for gluten free treats and healthy vegetarian meals.

Gardening - I have space for lots of food & flowers in my yard; my favorite things to grow are berries and flowers for bouquets.

• Journal prompts, jewelry (earrings of all sorts, short necklaces, cuff bracelets. I love thrifted/vintage/junk jewelry and findings)

• Kawaii, Knitting - socks, lace, miniatures, sweaters...you name it!

• Modern graphic design (bold geometry, icons, simple lines)

• Nature images (especially forests, birds, flowers, and water)

• Purple, Poetry (something you've written, a favorite of yours), interesting paper of all sorts

• Queer things - not just rainbows! (think ACT UP, radical queer liberation, queer icons...if you're queer yourself I would love to hear something about your life & experience)

• Recycled/reclaimed art supplies (I LOVE thrifting for supplies and making things from unexpected items)

• Stationery

• Tarot cards (would love to receive interesting/simple spreads to try)

• Vintage anything (particularly love the 40's)

• Witchy stuff (crystals, candles, written spells, etc), Where the Wild Things Are, Washi tape/paper

• Yarn

• zippers

Fiction: anything by Christopher Moore, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Barbara Kingsolver. I would love to read more by contemporary queer writers of color.

Non-fiction: I enjoy narrative historical non-fiction (I'm in the middle of Devil in the White City), anything by Malcom Gladwell, and I LOVE Brene Brown's work.

I have an eclectic taste in music but particularly love modern folk, female vocalists (Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, etc), 90's hip-hop, bluegrass and of COURSE the goddess herself, Dolly Parton!
