I am a married woman (it will be 20 years this May) who lives with two Schipperke dogs and two cats. I enjoy crocheting, anime, reading, my rose garden and playing computer RPG. I collect buttons and Halloween themed items (especially pumpkins/jack o'lanterns and bats.) I also love Hello Kitty and most things Japanese. My favorite colors are orange, yellow, peach, salmon, purple, and green. I'm allergic to something in the wool yarn making/dying process so I can only use superwash wool. I'm also allergic to mohair, Tofutsies, and floral scents.

I am really into crocheting but I also do some quilting and sewing. I've recently taken to making stitch markers and other beaded items.

I have eclectic taste in music. I love everything from Handel's Water Music and Pachelbel's Cannon in D to J-pop and J-Rock. I adore Queen, enjoy the Lovehammers, D.J. Bobo, 80's music, and have a recent obsession with T.M. Revolution and Abingdon Boys School.

I enjoy sci-fi like Star Trek, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. I also enjoy historic movies/period pieces and some romantic comedies. I adore The Nightmare Before Christmas and all of the Studio Ghibli movies--especially Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo.

I read a lot of mysteries--especially food based ones--and fantasy. I also read historic fiction. I've been enjoying Diana Wynn Jones, Sujata Massey, and Laura Jo Rowland.

I watch Project Runway, Top Chef, Biggest Loser, Leverage, and The Good Wife. I love Doctor Who (and have been a Whovian since the '70's--I've even met several of the Doctors.), Babylon 5, Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, Farscape, Firefly, and The Twilight Zone. I watch a lot of anime on DVD. My favorites are Wolf's Rain, Full Metal Panic, Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Azumanga Daiho, Air TV, and Cannon.
