Greetings! My name is Monisha Joy Gomez and I'm from Singapore. Singapore is located in Asia right below Malaysia and it's the size of New York! The population here is hitting 6.9 million as we're welcoming foreigners. Singapore is a multicultural society and it is known as a food haven. Life here can be very stressful and competitive with many people vying for places in the local universities. That's why I'm here to get as close as possible to my dream of travelling and seeking the fullest of life.
I get extremely nostalgic whenever I happen to hear the songs I used to listen to. I don't have a particular genre I like, neither do I hate one.
When I was young, my parents & siblings listened to 70s songs, Bee Gees, The Carpenters, Beetles & a whole lot of other oldies. Then when my sister was in her teens, she listened to Aqua, the Backstreet Boys and other boy band delights of that era. I started listening to my own choices of music from during my secondary school days.
Now, I love Classical, New Age and anything that calms my soul.
I'm guilty of not reading much these past 18 years of my life. If it wasn't for one of my secondary school friends, I wouldn't have even read 1 novel at all! I like anything that has a deep meaning to it, and will keep me cultured.
I'm a movie junkie. However, I only watch Blockbusters in cinemas as I would rather not spend money on something I may not get my money's worth BUT, I do watch these movies when they're still showing, if you know what I mean ;)
This list is endless. I've kept track of them, & they're all on my Facebook profile.
Growing up, I exposed myself to all sorts of crafts, ranging from drawing to polymer clay, which I love the most. I've cross-stitched, felted, knitted, scrap-booked, made things with paper mache, & beaded. I've to admit I've stopped crafting for myself & will stop when my craft supplies run out, but not for polymer clay.
