A 2nd grade teacher in the Los Angeles area. I love my job but it makes me very tired! When I'm not teaching I make cards and art journal. I've been working in watercolor but have recently started working with acrylics. I spend all my money on supplies. If I read about something new or exciting on an art blog or other website I buy it immediately to try it out. Unfortunately, my limited time in the art room leaves a lot of supplies unused. I love to travel out of the country and visit interesting places. Cooking is also a favorite past time.

I have an appreciation for most music except country...too twangy. Dave Matthews Band, Passion Pit, The Police, Florence and Machine, Imogen Heap, Crowded House, Elvis Costello, The Clash, Snow Patrol are all in my current playlist.

The Book Thief, Little Children, Life of Pi, The Godfather, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, anything by Marian Keyes, Roddy Doyle, and Nick Hornby. I also enjoy international spy type books

watercolor painting, art journaling (adhesive, acrylic paints, ephemera, stamps, deco tape, postcards, tissue paper, colored pens, envelopes, used/empty gift cards,), card making (punches, ink pads), embellishments, ribbon), book making, drawing, anything with paper...I LOVE beautiful papers!

I don't mind other peoples well loved treasures (used stamps, paper scraps, envelopes, etc) as long as it's still usable and not icky. :)

things with a fragrance (lotions, perfumes, sprays) I am allergic!
