Jenny, I just wanted to tell you I finally (!) had a chance to spin up the BFL fiber you sent along as an unexpected extra goodie with my gnome last winter. I spun it very fine, into a single-ply laceweight which will be enough for a smaller shawl.
It was a dream to spin, very soft and it was like it wanted to be yarn. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that your gift has lived on, long after you probably archived the swap and let it fade from your mind...
