Hi! I'm 25 and I live in the UK. I'm new to swap-bot - I saw some of the amazing swaps over on flickr, and thought how much fun it would be to have a go. I love getting surprises in the mail and would love to make others happy too!
To sum myself up quickly, my interests include: Japanese culture & kawaii, photography, unicorns, things that sparkle/glow in the dark, reading, pirates, cupcakes, dinosaurs, Lego and RPGs. I am a grown-up really, honest!
My favourite colours are pink, purple, mint green and duck-egg blue, but I like all pastel tones too.
As I mentioned earlier, my main interest at the moment is Japan - the culture, fashion and language - although I'm a particular fan of the kawaii lifestyle (especially the stationery and stickers). I like most kawaii characters, but I'm the most partial to Hello Kitty and Chococat.
I'm getting into decoden (although I haven't decorated anything yet) and really like all the cabochons that are available - especially ice cream, cookies and cakes.
I collect Monster High dolls and try to make my own clothes for them (time and skill permitting!). I like handmade doll clothes and fabrics with creepy cute patterns. I also like My Little Pony (especially the G3 versions) and Tokidoki characters.
I love finding out about different countries and cultures, and their history too - I do like a good castle! Countries I'm particularly interested in at the moment are Japan, America, Australia and Russia.
Hope this doesn't sound too picky, but here's a list of things I'm not really into:
Unfortunately, I'm not that good with food, candy etc - between me being vegetarian and having food allergies, there's not much left that I can eat, so I tend to avoid foods that I'm not familiar with.
My skin tends to be a bit sensitive too, so I don't use make-up, nail polish or fragranced bath/shower stuff. Also, I don't have pierced ears.
Despite liking Monster High, I'm not into zombies, or stuff that's too macabre or gory. I try to keep my creepiness as cute as possible! I'm not really into animal print, either.
Anything old or used - it's that allergy thing again.
