I love the older worn, muted things that you mention in your comments and have always loved rust and peeling paint since I was a teenager in the 1970's. I really thought all that old industrial rust was the best! Also, I had a friend that was older and I helped her sell at flea markets, so I know that the appreciation of items from days of the past comes deeply ingrained. I admit, sometimes it is hard for me to send those long collected items in a swap, but your inspiration of taking photos with those props has me thinking that may be fun.
On my flickr, I have a close up of the matchbox swap from March and I think that would make a cool card.
Where do you find sari silk? Maybe down the road we could do a small swap if you have some small pieces that you could part with? I have a tiny (under 1 inch) coke bottle that I found in my stash and maybe some watchmakers trinkets to offer. I also have some V-Mail WWII era mailers.

My family has Asperger's running through it, although it is undiagnosed in my bloodline. By marriage, my nephew is a thriving and happy 21 yr old.
