There isn't so much to me, I am a massive Beatles fan, I love Japanese literature, and I really like history (especially Japanese and Chinese history!). I am a second year college student, majoring in Japanese literature.
I'm quite a big fan of authors such as Franz Kafka, Haruki Murakami, Bret Easton Ellis, Banana Yoshimoto, Raymond Chandler, David Mitchell, J.D. Salinger, Charles Dickens, Yasunari Kawabata, Ryu Murakami, Yukio Mishima, Kobo Abe, Junichiro Tanizaki, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Natsume Soseki, Murasaki Shikibu, William Shakespeare, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, William Faulkner, Jack Kerouac, Kurt Vonnegut, Vladimir Nabokov, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, Amy Tan, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Marcel Proust, Georges Bataille, Friedrich Nietzsche, Bertrand Russell, Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Truman Capote, T.S. Eliot, H.P. Lovecraft, Hiromi Kawakami, Natsuo Kirino, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Luo Guanzhong, Sun Tzu, Confucius, J.R.R. Tolkien, Lewis Carroll and so on. I could list authors forever. I'm sure there is something you can recommend me!
As far as music goes, my two favorite bands are The Beatles and Neutral Milk Hotel, but I really love classic rock and lo-fi music. I'm not an avid concert attendee, something about being in a room with hundreds of other people, potentially drunk or sweating or both, doesn't get me excited. I love collecting vinyl.
I really have no qualms with anything, so send me what you'd like. But try and recommend me music or literature or something fun, I love to learn stuff from people.
Thanks
