About Me

I'm married (since July 1982) and have one son, born May 1986. The three of us live in a big old house built in 1900, which is sadly in need of some renovations. We have 4 inside cats, as well as however many neighborhood strays who want to come by to eat the food I set out daily. We also have a black and white Sheltie dog. I love reading (especially Terry Pratchett), knitting, and cooking.

Favorite Music

bluegrass or rockabilly, but I also love rock and roll, blues, old jazz, classical, opera, and folk, as well as a little bit of everything else.

Peter Jackson\'s LOTR movies, \"O Brother, Where Art Thou\" and \"Raising Arizona,\" \"Serenity\" and \"Arsenic and Old Lace,\" and so many more...

Favorite Television

Deadwood, Rome, Firefly, Buffy, Mythbusters, Bullshit, Battlestar Galactica, Dirty Jobs, Big Love, Supernatural, True Blood, Project Runway, Amazing race,and Venture Brothers.

Comment: Oh my gosh! :D i LOVE my ornaments! And you sent such a nice card, too. i couldn't resist opening the gift box right away. The stocking is adorable, and Jane's hat is over the top! Yay for Browncoats! Thanks for all the extras - we drink lots of tea and eat much chocolate in this house - and the beads are awesome! The sheep is adorable and made me laugh. My husband is eyeing the skulls, but i said no, all mine! Thank you so much for a wonderful swap! i am a super happy swapper today!

Comment: Hi, thanks for the ugly postcard! Although I don't think it is ugly...LOL the cat does deserve better, but it is kinda cute. I need to talk to my post office about cards as they charge me .44 for all my cards and yet I receive some at .28?? Have a great day!!
