Thirty-something technical writer by day, crazy crafter by night! Married and expecting Baby #1 August 2007! In addition to crafting I like to bake, play word games, and do crosswords and math puzzles. I also have a music degree and play the saxophone in a local community band. I teach beading classes and belong to a couple of knitting groups.

I like penguins, puppies, chocolate, pepperoni pizza, strawberries, flowers, warm weather, bargain hunting, girly things, and the color purple.

60's-80's R&B/soul/funk/Motown/disco ... love Earth, Wind, and Fire! Also Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Tower of Power, Chicago, Natalie Cole, Steely Dan, anything with horns. Some jazz, classical and top 40 too.

March of the Penguins ... because penguins are awesome! Moonstruck, chick flicks ... I am not much of a movie watcher because I would rather be crafting!

What Not To Wear, HGTV, Food Network, TLC, Discovery, some HBO. Not into reality TV or most network TV.

Knitting, beading, rubber stamping, scrapbooking and other paper crafts, occasional sewing, occasional cross-stitch, I will pretty much try anything! I want to learn to crochet and do rug hooking someday.
