I am a copyright/trademark and entertainment lawyer , though I have an undergraduate degree in design. I love to make things. I also founded a non-profit for young adult cancer survivors (I am one) to help with their transition to life after treatment.

I'm 41, so I may be a little bit older than most of you on here, but I am really a 15 year old trapped in a 41 year old's body. I grew up on punk rock in Los Angeles in the late 70s and have probably dated some of your favorite punk rock stars (before they were). I lived it when it was still a novelty. lol. That's still my favorite type of music. Since I work in the music business now, I am exposed to all kinds of stuff. I've been listening constantly to Amy Winehouse and Eagles of Death Metal lately. Oh yeah, and HIM. What can I say, I'm an eclectic weirdo and the only person over the age of 16 to know who HIM is, I believe. I don't go to shows much anymore, since that is work to me. I would rather stay home and make stuff.

I like independents. Just off the top of my head, I like Junebug, Half Nelson, Secretary, Dummy, oh, and everyone's perennial favorite Donnie Darko. Don't doubt my devotion.

I try not to watch too much TV and my favorites change with the seasons....For the past few seasons it's been House. House is my dream man. Brilliant and snarky. I also watch Intervention, The Riches, Gene Simmons Family Jewels and American Idol (Sshh.) I miss Arrested Development and new Queer as Folks. Wow, I am watching entirely too much tv these days. I never just watch though, I am always simultaneously craft multitasking.

Knitting, sewing, drawing, spinning, painting, crochet, collage. All crafts, really! I'm most proficient at knitting.
