my name's ieva, i am 27 y/o. my pronouns are she/her!

i am currently in uni, studying veterinary medicine! i'm in my 6th year at the moment.

I adore books, movies, travelling, kayaking, all animals (especially marine life). i have a smol Siberian laika, who simultaneously is the cutest and the most annoying baby.

i am a procrastinator, but i decided that this school year i'm gonna stick it out and finish my degree. I feel so much anger at my uni, and that a great motivator!!! i love vintage items, journaling, postcards and history as well. i planned to study archeology, but as you can see, that did not happen lol. i can re-tell some amazing stories that my grandparents have told me and what my parents actually lived through in the soviet era. i live like a 10 minute ride from the place where bbc filmed 'chernobyl' (the apartament square).

i love museums and art. my favorite "classical" artists are dürer, klimt, van gogh and monet.

i love music as well! i listen to lots of genres and am definitely not limited to pop or like rock. my favorite performers are twenty one pilots, noah kahan and bad bunny atm. i can also play 3 instruments!

i am a avid concert goer and it's one of the things that help me survive in general.

i currently speak 3 languages fluently - lithuanian, english and german!!!!

i like pressing flowers and adding them to packages/letters to my friends.

i love humor and memes are my favorite.

I've read quite a few books in my short lifetime. Lots of different genres as well. I used to prefer fantasy novels, but right now i like everything but that. I've been trying to read we are the villains for 2 full on years noe sadly. my current favorite book is 'bunny' by mona awad. :)

book recommendations are always welcome, just please write me why should i read that particular book and if you've re-read it!!

I love watching different genres of movies! I adore studio ghibli, disney as well! Lately i've been watching a lot of crime fighting tv series and movies, but don't know yet if it's my favorite genre. I love romance movies, but my favorite is of cource pride and prejudice of 2005. Iconic version to say the least. Also the Pride and preducide and zombies does live in my head too haha My favorite TV series are derry girls, abbot elementary and 1670 is also very entertaining to me.

I love journaling and have an instagram account dedicated to my traveler's journal (it's more of an art journal, not gonna lie. i like layering and vintage paper so much! Music sheets and glassine paper are still my favorite supplies. Paper bags are reused in this household - whether for journaling or something else entirely).

I also love pressed flowers (and i love adding them to spreads or adding as a wrapping decoration) which i press myself!!

i adore washi tape and am probably addicted to stickers. i try to support small businesses since it's usually younger people who are trying to find their footing in the world.

I love vintage items, but especially i adore post stamps and stamps in general. my dad used to collect post stamps and i feel like that hobby got accidentally passed to me. i use both stamps in spreads and while writing letters!

Recently, I started to get into junk journaling as well - i am making my own insert out of vintage items (music sheets, botanic booklets, old german books, glassine paper are my favorites to add). I usually don't have anything that exciting happening in my life, but when i do, i journal about it so i can remember it later.
