Comment: I hate to do this to you but wow itโs been way over the dead line and if you sending it out late I can respect that but you never been the type to just flake on any body at all and now knowing this I would like a message what is going on
Comment: I am sorry to have to do this, because I have never given anyone a one rating before. But I think I have been patient long enough in waiting for this swap. It was due to be sent out on the 15th of April. You marked it sent on the 18th. I contacted you at the end of April and told you I hadn't received this. You said your post office was renovating and you would check to see if they had it. You contacted me back on May 10th and said they didn't have it, but you remembered giving it to your sister to mail because you were going out of town. You said you would take care of it and send the journal out to me by week's end. It is now June 1st and I have yet to receive the journal, nor have you contacted me about where it is. I feel it is not fair to others who take part in these journal swaps and put alot of time and effort into them. To not receive anything is disappointing. The host always states that if you don't have the time to fulfill your end of the swap, don't sign up. I also noticed that you are in the May Jounal Swap and that is due to be mailed out on June 6th. You haven't been online since the 19th of May, so I honestly don't know what to make of this. I will be happy to up the rating if and when I do receive this swap. I have contacted the host as well and let her know the situation.
Comment: Thanks so much for your typewritten letter. :) If we ever stop moving :) I'd love to find a typewriter to use for letters, but as you say, they are hard to find. Something to watch for, I suppose. :)
Comment: Thank you so much for the goodies! I love them all! It's also so cool that you typed out your letter on a typewriter :D I would love to be pen pals and will write back soon
Comment: Thank you for the FB's! It indeed was intended to be a one partner swap, i apparently forgot to change that in the swap description (my fault). It is okay that you sent 10 FB's instead of 5. I will pass them on nonetheless.
Comment: Wow, your box was amazing!!!!! Thanks so much for sending me all these great goodies and for supporting small businesses; there are so many creative artists in your state!! <3 Merry Christmas from Canada!
Comment: Thank you for the notecard. The message inside was supposed to be 7 to 10 sentences not 3. Make sure to read the requirements of the swap because some will rate down for this! Have a wonderful day.
Comment: Thank you for the, colorful pattrrn/design postcards. They will be fun to use in future swaps and yet again I may just keep them in my collection for myself. Love them.
Comment: Thank you for the nice FBs/FSs. For some reason, Canada Post covered the envelope in its plastic bag when an item is damaged. The envelope was mostly OK, but the flap was beginning to tear. The floral stamps are wonderful!
Comment: Thanks for joining my swap! I love your letter. I now the book.
Here it is called Het Puttertje.
I still have to read it ๐
And funny that you have been in The Hague.
Comment: Thank you as always love swapping with you and let me know what kind of labels that you want for your swaps that I was telling you on Instagram for address labels :)
Comment: The card is gorgeous! Thank you.
12/14/2020 - Wait, I just received another (?) set of friendship books/bags. I love this card. I wonder what I rated above!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely letter. It was great to read about what's going on in your life right now. I look forward to exchanging more letters. Have a great day! Smokey
Comment: Thank you I know that I should rate you a 3 but because I know that you are amazing partner I will give you a five and thank you for the stamps and the little cards and washi tape :)
Comment: Oh Stephen, your card was too cute then the 3 lovely items you sent. Many thanks for everything. Have a wonderful day today and Craft On. AnnaL.
Comment: I got your swap today with a bunch of other letters from April. I guess they've been sitting stored somewhere on the way. Thanks for sharing your memories. I had some challenges reading your handwriting, but I figured it out in the end :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your board! It's funny because you mention a lot of tats because you are craving one ... I think my board had a lot of house things lol. I guess with being cooped up so much these months, I've been getting a re-do fever :)
Comment: thank you for your letter. You asked me if I like to travel. I do! My sister and I went on a cruise this last January before all of this craziness started. It was sooo much fun. We went snorkeling with sea turtles in Mexico. I wish I could travel more but it is difficult with such a large family.
Comment: I got this swap a long time ago and when I went to rate my other partner it shows you not being rated! It was a great swap and I loved how much effort you put into it!! I really want to check out their pottery!
Comment: I didn't get all my baby teeth replaced with larger ones - I had a baby molar for 25 years before it gave up the ghost and had to be replaced.
Comment: That would be interesting to have extra teeth! Interesting how mouths and bodies in general form. My daughter was born with a high neeearly cleft palate and her bottom front teeth are in a v shape and I wonder if it has anything to do with it or not.
Comment: Our golden retriever/lab mix had an extra row of little teeth behind her bottom teeth. Six teeth extra! Vet said they were fine as long as they didnโt appear to bother her. It was strange looking but made her extra special.
Comment: Thanks for your song list.
Sorry for the bit of a delay in rating.
I am familiar with about half. Based on that, I'm pretty sure I'll like most of the others.
Comment: Thank you so much for your songs. It's really such a personal thing and I appreciate the time you took to share with me. I'll reply to your email when I've had a chance to listen!
Comment: It was tough reading because the red ink was blurry, but I finally deciphered it and enjoyed your Haiku. My first one was written in Japan. Lots of inspiration there, for sure.
Thank you.
Comment: Thank you for the PC See America with your info. of year you were born( 1985). Always really neat things that have happened event wise. I love History!
Comment: Thank you! A couple of these I don't think I've heard (although I am terrible with song names so once I listen I might actually know them) can't wait to check out the ones I don't recognize!
Comment: WOW some really fun, cool stuff in this envie. I love the trivia cards, esp the one that asks "What is ganja in Jamaica?" LOL The Backstreet Boys one is so special to me bc I used to send my mom postcards from them (bc she was a fan) and tell her to stop stalking them. I love the brochure, too. Berea is one of my very favorite places to visit. THANKS! :):):)
Response: I kind of know the people there, but it is really close to my hometown, so I go there often.
Comment: Beautiful note card of a painted wild cat. I agree, having time on our hands allows us to be more patient in writing and therefore can be extremely relaxing. Happy to hear you can enjoy yourself in many ways (yoga, meditation, journaling etc. Happy mind/healthy body. Keep safe and keep smiling each day.
Comment: Thank you so much for the vintage goodies!! The Trivial Pursuit card was AWESOME! I loved it all and the tin! You deserve so many more hearts!!! <3<3<3
