Description:

I love fall colors and have not seen this swap yet - hopefully I am not stepping on anyone's toes! Take a fall photo and make it into a postcard. Please make it so nice you almost don't want to sent it!! LOL! Write a nice note on the back of your postcard and sent it on its merry way!

You will send one handmade fall photo postcard to each partner. The photo can be taken by you, a family member or friend - it just needs to be a fall photo.

Please PM me if you have any questions and please do not join if you think you cannot complete the swap!

Hugs and Happy Swapping!

How exactly do you make a photo post card??

Take a photo (4 x 5) and attach a backing (I recycle boxes from the kitchen - I use double sided carpet tape to attach the photo to the backing) to it to make it a tad stiff, like a pc - address it, write a note, attach a .29 stamp and sent it on its way! Hope that makes sense! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)

My best friend gave me adhesive backing paper for PCs. These are great for writing on Photo Postcards. I make photo postcards on 4" x 6" photo paper. Be careful of handmade PCs stiffness..a postage surcharge may be applied (a FYI from a postal employee). None of us want our PC to be received as a Postage Due piece of mail..

AZSunshine - thanks so much for the great tip! I have not seen that type of paper, but it sounds wonderful! So far my pcs have been ok - I use cereal boxes and such, so not too thick - thanks again! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)

I always think it's funny when I get the email telling me partners are ready AFTER I am ready to send, addressed and all. Have to giggle!
