Is one of your new years resolutions to give more to charity? Well here is your chance to get the year off to a good start, get some good karma and help others at the same time! This is based on pinkwhirlitop's "My Name is Charity" swap. Rightio, the details are as follows: International swap You will have only one partner. You must donate a minimum of 10 dollars U.S. (although more is always appreciated & gain you hearts) You must include a letter of introduction to why you love to donate and why you chose the organisations you did You must have something to show for your donations - wristbands, buttons, softoys, pens, stickers etc or a receipt! Send these items to your partner as proof of your donation. Donating to multiple charities would be lovely, as your partner will recieve more variety, but not necessary. Give generously and good karma (& hearts) will come your way ;) Happy swapping!

Good idea! I've ordered and donated a few minutes ago, but I'm not sure if I can be in time, as I live in Germany. :(

thanks for your enthusiasm! the swap doesn't begin until jan 22nd so hold on tight until then when you get your swap buddy assigned :)

I know, that we get our partner not before the 22th. I only had hoped for a response of my concern about the date. That you perhaps could suspend the starting date. It's fine now, but I for example look everyday in my swaps that I host and I react to the comments.

Maybe she didn't get the comment the same day you made it since you are in very different time zones. Right? Besides, I think her response time was quite appropriate.

Yes I know that amberlantern. :-) Let's say I was concerned not to make it in time and had hoped of a little responsiveness with my problem. But nevermind.
