This is a version of a swap that @thehappyhoneybee hosted in 2010. She hasn't been online since 2013, so I couldn't check with her before using it -- sorry! Onyx suggested we run it again here. Dear Lost and Found Regional Offices, It has come to our attention that our organization has recently acquired a number of articles belonging to certain persons caught up in enchanted tales. As reported by our Regional Officers, such articles may include (but are not limited to):
These articles were sent to our offices around the world accompanied by a letter explaining the contents of the package and how it came to be in the finder's possession. It is your duty to now return the articles to their rightful owners with all due haste. As you can imagine, their owners are most anxious to have their properties returned. I have already had numerous calls from many of the parties involved, and I won't even tell you the sort of language the 12th princess used to demand her missing slipper. You will have one month to carefully pack and ship your package, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. It is our hope that you will give this matter the attention and care it deserves. Best, L & F Service Headquarters Wonderland The fine print: Fairy tale items and props are sender's choice, and may be handmade, vintage, thrifted, altered, or purchased, but must show creativity in how they're put together. There is no minimum size, dollar amount, or specification for materials, but all must be significantly related to a fairy tale character, well-made, and of good quality. To be clear, this swap should include items similar to those listed above (not just Cinderella-themed bookmarks, etc), so please plan to put some time and thought into making your item or seeking it out. You will also include a letter to the owner/recipient/fairy tale character. This may either be a letter from the Lost & Found office explaining what it is and how we came to acquire it, or from the actual finder, it's up to you. Feel free to be as imaginative or detailed as you'd like! All members in good standing may participate in this exchange. By joining this swap, you pledge to follow through with your commitment and to faithfully communicate with your partner if there is any delay. And please--be sure to rate your partner promptly upon receipt! This is a special package that deserves to be acknowledged. |
