One Deco Book - USA only, Round 5

Each person will send one Deco Book to one partner. That says ONE book. You may make a new Deco for yourself, or for someone else of your choice. Don't send extras, please, in this swap. There is a monthly swap for moving several Deco Books.

Please DO NOT randomly decide a book is not "Good enough" for you and dispose of it. Feel free to PASS. To pass, write your name on the inside back cover "Swap-bot name passes" and forward it in the next swap. I swap with some Special Needs Kids, and sometimes their books disappear. Don't throw away someone's art! That is a really rotten thing to do! Nobody gets to decide another person's art is trash.

What is a Deco Book? Deco is short for Decorate! It is NOT a friendship book. It is a Traveling Art Book which is made to circulate to other artists so each one can Decorate a page. If you have never made one, generally they are small enough to fit into an envelope, possibly as large as a greeting card envelope. They contain 6 - 8 pages, no more than 10 pages, held together somehow. They are stapled, sewn, beaded, crocheted, or gathered together in some way. Mine tend to be 4 inches by 41/2 inches. (Roughly 11.45 cm x 10.18 cm) After you make your book, decorate one page, then send it on to your partner in the swap, another Deco fan.

The sender decides the theme, and the medium/media of the book. Many people let everyone choose their own theme and media. People may or may not follow your theme. It will be interesting when it arrives home, that's guaranteed.

This is a USA Regional Swap. One ounce or under, one first class stamp. Over one but not two ounces, add a 21cent stamp. Two ounces, two first class stamps plus the 21 cent stamp. Please check the Post Office for correct postage if you are unsure.

A Deco Book can be made BY someone FOR someone else. Inside the front cover or on the back cover, put the name, full snail mail address and ideally, an email address of the person to whom the book should be sent when full.

When you Decorate a page in the Deco, make sure your information - Swap Name, Swap-bot name, date, general location, email - is either on your page or on the inside back cover.

Please Rate your partners for each round! You must rate a five if you receive a swap. If Your swap is delayed, contact your partner AND me, via Swap-bot; then get it moving as soon as possible! If your partner does not send, contact me to Angel. You will be asked to rate a 1 for Nothing Received.

You must have a rating of 4.97 to join this swap. I angel all the swaps I host, although I check profiles carefully. We take a dim view of flakers, and it's often very difficult to get into another swap after you flake. SO DON'T FLAKE! When I Angel, I may send a random Deco.

Happy Swapping!

So, it can't be an established book? It has to be a new one?
