Description:

This was very popular last time, so I thought we'd do it again for March!

For those of us who think heaven is a nice hot cuppa and some time to read a magazine…

Send 1 partner a sheet/page or article from a magazine (any language), and a teabag/coffee sachet (or any hot drink). Just a quick, fun swap. Everyone welcome...including newbies and international.

Post any questions or preferences for teabags (eg. allergies) below, but just remember, we want to keep it easy, fun and simple.

To keep with the random swap fun, I think this time we should leave the article up to the sender's imagination! And you'll get a surprise in your mail box! :)

Remember swap karma, send only things that you'd be happy to receive, and honour your promise to send. Thanks!

Zanara 01/30/2007 #

I joined the last # 2 and thought it was really cool, but I can only drink decaf tea or hot chocolate thanks!

abbehope 01/30/2007 #

I joined this the last time too, loved it... I would prefer tea :) and I'd love anything asian-related...

nifwlseirff 01/31/2007 #

I'd love anything Japanese to test my translation skills, especially manga. In English I'd prefer, cooking, gardening, interior design, or anything asian. ;>

I don't drink decaf, sugar-substitutes or ginger, but anything else is fine (herbal/fruit/tea/coffee/chocolate)....

user5860 01/31/2007 #

i can read english and french, but i'll be happy with whatever language i get :). i would also like to request no splenda type products or sugar substitute products. thanks!

AngelFaeryKathleen 01/31/2007 #

I'v been in the last 2 so i'm in agine as I just love what I am sent. Thanks drewzel for running it again, please keep it up.

shopinc 02/ 2/2007 #

I'd love anything in Jap/English/French.

drewzel 02/ 2/2007 #

I'm happy with anything, especially if it has nice pictures. My motto on this one - if I can't read it, I can still ATC it!

drewzel 02/ 2/2007 #

Oh, I also wanted to add, this should be an EASY swap, so I'm not banning anyone. This should also be good for the newbies to get some ratings up. If anyone doesn't feel confident with that, maybe they shouldn't join this round.

Happy swapping guys, don't make me be the swap nag! :P

jewels1 02/ 5/2007 #

I'd prefer English, so I can actually sit and drink my "cuppa" something and read my article. Ahhhh, I can feel the relaxation already! When I buy magazines, they are usually about gardening, cooking, decorating, crafting and painting. I'll read anything though, maybe I'll find a new kind of magazine I can't live without! We usually get a whalloping snow storm here in the mountains in March, so I'm sure by then I'd love a hot drink, I love coffee, herbal tea (don't care for regular tea), or cocoa. (Nothing diet or sugar-substitute for me either, ick!). Can't wait to find out who I send to, I hate these long deadlines! The suspense is killing me, lol!

user5587 02/ 5/2007 #

This will be great fun! I will only request that my drink be tea and also that there are no splenda or substitute products. Thanks!

mapps 02/ 5/2007 #

I read English, French and German. I can make my way through Italian and Spanish and would welcome the challlenge.

EmilyBemily 02/ 6/2007 #

I can read English, French (fairly well), and Spanish (so so). Looking forward to it!

user6165 02/ 7/2007 #

I just found this site and I would love to come and play. How do I participate in this swap? Reading is a past time of mine and so is drinking tea. Looking forward to swapping

todsahonchik 02/ 7/2007 #

I'd love anything... European magazines, japanese fashion magazines, english stuff, whatever. Thanks!

user6165 02/ 7/2007 #

Okay, this is my first time. I read english and love reading most anything. Tea of any kind, always up for a cuppa tea! Thanks!

user6193 02/ 8/2007 #

I just signed up~~This is my very first swap, so i'm ultra excited~~~I would love a magazine article in any language. If I can't read it, it's great for conversation, and novelty~~ Thanks~*~

gramsbuttonbox 02/ 9/2007 #

Question: what exactly IS an "atc"? - I've seen them metioned in several swaps, but have no idea what that means, and no place where the definition is listed. Please help?
Mary

user4010 02/10/2007 #

I did this last time, I love sending out small packages! So fun :)

Any tea is fine for me. Something unusual is always appreciated.

user6225 02/10/2007 #

I have been looking forward to being a part of a swap, and this one looks pretty low maintenance but lots of fun! I love tea or hot chocolate. I LOVE peppermint and orange flavored teas and also Raspberry, Chocolate and Peppermint flavored hot chocolate, BUT, I will TRY anything!

Kim

raydance 02/10/2007 #

Thanks for allowing newbies! =D I'm new to Swap-bot, this will be my first swap.

Personally I'll go with any teabag, hopefully something unique!

Magazine-wise, I'll take anything with lovely visuals. <3 Thanks everyone!

user6263 02/12/2007 #

I'm a total newbie, this is my first swap. Thanks for having it open, and it being simple to complete! :)

I'm totally up for anything, any language, any tea/coffee/cocoa/whatever. I'm very adventurous.

Yay!

tannermom 02/12/2007 #

OK...this one looks pretty easy -- SIGN ME UP. I just love to swap stuff!

user6273 02/12/2007 #

hi, newbie too, thanks for letting me join :)

please no coffee and ginger tea anything else goes.

oh, i can read english, german and italian, will probably understand spanish as well. languages with nice signs (chinese, japanese, stuff like that) would be great as well. anyway, i will be happy with any language if there are nice pictures...

Jobeg 02/14/2007 #

I would really prefer to not have coffee. Anything else is fine. I would love to have foreign languages. I would actually be just as happy with newspaper sheets if it is in a language other than english. Thanks!

user6321 02/16/2007 #

I'd prefer something other than coffee... and no splenda or other fake-sugars, please-- I'm alergic! But other than that: I'll drink just about anything!

as for magazine pages: I'm up for anything-- can read english, or spanish articles... I'd love to receive something in Japanese, if possible: trying to get my reading skills up!

thanks everyone! this one sounds like fun!

gooddog56 02/16/2007 #

I'll be happy with whatever beverage and article my partner sends...

user4776 02/16/2007 #

Hi!

I love decaf tea! Anything art or craft, fiction, music... related is good! I can read English and a tad bit of German! But would be interested in whatever!

erinszoo 02/16/2007 #

I'm easy, any beverage, any topic to read. I can only read english, and a bit of toddler. LOL!

marieoday 02/16/2007 #

I love all tea, sans earl grey. I can read English & some French, though visuals are better than text.

user6359 02/17/2007 #

Well I just joined, and this sounds like a fun first swap! I'm game to try any hot drink at least once.

user6357 02/17/2007 #

hi, i just joined this is my first swap.

I love coffe and tea. I'd prefer leaves of tea,amy kind, but not a bag of tea.

user6357 02/17/2007 #

any kind..

user5648 02/18/2007 #

Oh, wow! So many participants!

corplyn 02/18/2007 #
I don't care for artifical sweetener, but I will drink any kind of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and I will read almost anything, but I can only read english or spanish. This swap looks like a lot of fun.
Fizbin 02/18/2007 #

I will drink any kind of tea and prefer English though something with good visuals would be fine in another language. Very excited about this swap!

debbi 02/18/2007 #

I ony read english, but can get daughters to tranlste Spanish or Czech :-)

Any drink is great!

moline 02/18/2007 #

Hello, also my first! read everything and I am not afraid of any language - pictures are great. I read German,English, French, Spanish, Turkish and a bit of Portuguese. Love japanese ones on crafting and french ones and interior design magazines and the like. My subsriptions: Martha Stewart Living, Simple living, marie claire idees, and some German ones. tea: please no Earl Grey and no Toffee-Vanilla-Coffee-flavour in tea. Love Assam and Ceylon best, also Japan Sencha and herbal ones. I am not a fan of strawberry and these fruity varieties

Eve 02/19/2007 #

My first swap here! I would enjoy teas - fruity or "calming". As for reads - surprise me! =)

user6392 02/19/2007 #

My first swap! I just joined like 5 minutes ago, ha ha, so if I am a little slow with the whole process, please go easy on me.

But I don\'t have any preferences. With the article, I know a little bit of various languages but probably won\'t be able to read an entire article unless it was very simple. So, I guess English is preferrable but I won\'t mind anything else really, I just won\'t be able to read it ;)

As for tea--anything a little out of the ordinary is good for me. Give it your best shot!

myrrhmaid 02/19/2007 #

Hi all! I\'ve signed up! This seems like a nice, simple swap to start with! I love any teas! Thanks! I\'ve filled out my profile if anyone needs any ideas for articles to send. THANKS!(please no mainstream parenting stuff! :)

user5648 02/19/2007 #

I think I like any tea. For the article: I can read English and German, I can got translated Spanish, French, Norwegian and Netherlands. If it is another language please summarize or translate it. Put nice stamps on the envelope and I`ll be happy!

evacorges 02/19/2007 #

This will be fun! I am a total newbie here, but looking forward to sticking around :) I dislike tea with an aroma, but am into all other teas and herb teas!

user6285 02/19/2007 #

My first swap, I love to try new teas, sorry to say, English is my only language, except for high school Spanish.

user6162 02/19/2007 #

just to let you know... who ever gets me... i\'m not a coffee drinking... more of a tea drinker! thanks

user6386 02/19/2007 #

hi, also just want to let u know, whoever gets me wont be able to send a teabag due to the australian quarantine. please read here: http://www.daff.gov.au/content/output.cfm?ObjectID=92E664D1-A012-4F8C-A481E22DE6759942 no teabags for me, but i dont mind the magazine page swap. i have an old hardcover magazine from the husband\'s nan and its awesome. however, i will still be sending out as per required :)

user5648 02/20/2007 #

Good to know about this quarantine in Australia. I just wonder if it really makes sense: people come by plane and by ship, there could be anything on their clothing, shoes or on the ship bottom under water. What harm does a teabag do compared to that?

user6421 02/20/2007 #

I love ANYTHING. Surprises are good. Any language, any drink.:-)

user4792 02/20/2007 #

I\'m really not picky at all! I would love any magazine page in any language, and while I don\'t particularly care for fruit flavored tea, I would love to try something a little different. (ie. not something you can buy at any old supermarket.

saffron5 02/20/2007 #

It\'s my first swap too - so exciting! I drink any tea and will read pretty much anything in english or in french.

Look forward to swapping with you all!

user1926 02/20/2007 #

So we cant send a whole magazine? Just a little article?

threesweetpeas 02/21/2007 #

yeahhhhhhh, how did i miss this last time, i read english only but i amthrilled to have any language article:) as far as tea, nothing too fruity, but am also happy for anything, random swapping is FUN!!!

ooh if there is time, i wanted to introduce you all to tea bag cozies, hahah cute little things i have made in my etsy shop, i am not telling you so you buy them but so you can make them yourself for this swap if you like!!!

www.threesweetpeas.etsy.com, you can see them there but any style you can come up with is perfect!

i will also do a tea bag cozie swap soon:)

user6369 02/21/2007 #

Hello!. I am a newbie and this is my first swap!. I would be happy to receive any kind of tea or hot chocolate, no coffee though please.

I can read in both English and German. It doesn\'t matter though what language the article or sheet is in, as long as it\'s visually appealing!. Look forward to swapping and many thanks!!!.

user6330 02/21/2007 #

Hello.

I am am a newish swapper with a adoration for tea (any type) and a dislike for coffee.

But due to the Australian regulations please don\'t send me any tea or coffee Australian quarantine. please read here: http://www.daff.gov.au/content/output.cfm?ObjectID=92E664D1-A012-4F8C-A481E22DE6759942 no teabags for me but I can and will send out

I have poor Dutch / German reading ability. However don\'t let that fuss you. Any language is fine, but it would be great if it is not English to make it heavier on the visual and less on the text! Look forward to swapping

teafig 02/22/2007 #

Hi - I\'m new, too, and this is my first swap. I\'m happy to receive tea or coffee. As for the language, it may be a stretch, but how about Icelandic? ;-) Looking forward to swapping!

brightdawn1891 02/22/2007 #

Hello potential swap partner. Just so you know, I\'m a big tea fan especially of spice teas like chai. I also like fruit infusions as well. My collection of tea bags is getting rather large, so much so, my husband cringes every time we walk down the coffee/tea aisle in the grocery store. Better a tea habit than an alcoholic wife.

user6386 02/22/2007 #

have u been assigned a partner yet?

wollbindung 02/23/2007 #

hi all, i love green & black teas and any kind of crafting, knitting, homedecorating, travelling zines - take your choice - i´m looking forward what i will find in my postbox =)

crazyquiltpatcher 02/23/2007 #

I do not care for decaf. . . .but herbal's are good. I love out of the ordinary things --- like fruit blends, flavored, etc.

As far as articles, I'm very into crafting (quilting, knitting, crochet), have started redecorating my house, and enjoy flea markets, yard sales, antiquing, etc.

I only read English. . . .but if there are pictures and/or pattern pieces it wouldn't matter what the language is.

I love surprises!!

Sharon

user6104 02/23/2007 #

Hello all: I'm with Patti on the one page/why not a whole mag question...especially US swappers...we have so many varieties of mags that can be folded or are small enough for a small envelope. Who ever swaps to me, please no artifical sweetners or coffee. Any tea is great. Rae

lilylemon 02/23/2007 #

I see a lot of requests as to what people want to read and in what language. I assume we all read English, so that should be fine but as far as people saying, "I prefer it not to be English," would we be required to go buy a non-Enlgish magazine in order to accommodate those requests? Also, I see lots of request for particular subject matter. So, ditto: are we required to buy a magazine that matches the partner's request, or are we to send a page from something we have? I'm just a little puzzled and I don't want to get a low rating because someone wants an article in Swahili about farming and all I have are English magazines about fashion, horses, and crafts, for example. I only read English fluently but would be delighted to get any article on any subject in any language with any beverage (God, I'm so easy !!! :)), as I feel if my partner does that, she's fulfilling the swap requirements.

writechen 02/23/2007 #

Variety is the spice of life - surprise me!

Alix 02/24/2007 #

Hi all! I'll love to get any article in any language and if it has nice pictures, it's even better. As for the tea, I'm willing to try anything.

drewzel 02/24/2007 #

Hi Lily, you shouldn't have to go out and buy anything special, especially a foreign language mag! 'Cause there's so many international swappers, the page could be in any language. But as long as everyone sends a magazine page to read and a tea bag (or subsitute if you partner needs something different) then everyone should be rated a 5!

Thanks for joining everyone.

user6434 02/24/2007 #

Hello... This is my second swap and im just too excited! I suppose I should tell you that I drink any sorts of tea and read english! But I would love to translate something if i could... oh how I love freetranslation.com!

mandaladreamer 02/24/2007 #

This is my first swap! But I don't drink coffee. Other than that, I'm not picky, and if I get coffee I will give it someone deserving!

user6555 02/25/2007 #

This will be my first swap here and I\'m very excited.

I don\'t like artificial sweetners and plain black tea, but otherwise good with anything else.

user5945 02/25/2007 #

Hi - I would prefer an article in English and any type of hot beverage is cool with me.

candyrage 02/25/2007 #

I would love any kind of hot drink and any craft related article other than knitting/crocheting...Thanks!

mwquilt 02/26/2007 #

Just signed up..not done a swapbot swap before so hope I will be getting everything right. I see today is the last day for sign up so I am hoping I will get my partner details soon, so I can mail out my package.

Am leaving it for my partner to choose what to send as long as it complies with the swap rules.

mwquilt 02/26/2007 #

In need of reassurance please..if the swap is due for mailing on March 1st, I need to be able to get the stuff soon to mail it out. But I see quite a lot of people have indicated preferences, which I am happy to go along with, but may mean I need to go shopping...When are we likely to get our partner allocated please, so I can check their likes/dislikes? Sorry for being so anxious..just that I am a newbie and want to do it right..

Moominbrooke 02/26/2007 #

Go wild! I am an adventurous cuppa-drinker/reader.

lilylemon 02/26/2007 #

So, it's fine to give beverage preferences (which should be honored due to potential allergies, etc.)and fine to give subject and language preferences, but language and article subject matter preferences may not be honored because we're not required to go out and buy a magazine in the partner's preferred language and subjebt matter, right? So, when it's time to rate, you should not give a 3 for getting an English gardening article when you hinted at a Russian economics article, right!? I don't want to get

lilylemon 02/26/2007 #

(Continued) I don\'t want to get a bad rating if I can\'t meet very specific requests

memmu 02/26/2007 #

I would think it's up to everybody what to send to their partner... this should be an easy swap, not having to go and buy anything, so let's keep it that way.

I'd love a nice bag of tea and a page of any magazine... :)

Let's have fun and be surprised!!!

brokeneyeball 02/26/2007 #

I love trying new tea, anything but coffee would be great, thanks!

(i can read english and spanish..love trying to read french things!..and i love asian things too!).

this should be fun! :D

mwquilt 02/27/2007 #

Thanks everyone. I am looking forward to doing the swap..hope the names will be available soon MW

user6372 02/27/2007 #

Hi everyone! Am I the only one who has not received information on my swap-partner yet? Or do I need to buy a set of new glasses? :-)

Ahhh, I want to know who you are going to be, now!!!

Take care everyone.

Liseanne27 02/27/2007 #

Hopefully the names will be up soon. I just wanted to drop a note for whomever has me. I don't like artificial sweetners. Everything else is good. I love to try new things!

todsahonchik 02/27/2007 #

Where are the swap partners???

lilylemon 02/27/2007 #

drewzel may not know that swap coordinators now need to click "assign partners" -- swap-bot doesn't do it automatically anymore. This allows coordinators to do a last minute check for "bad swappers." I sent her a message last night telling her this but maybe she didn't receive it. With such a tight turn around time -- mailing on the 1st -- we kinda of need to know now since we might have to go buy the beverage of choice. I hope we find out soon, too.

lilylemon 02/27/2007 #

drewzel -- can you please extend the send date to three days after the date we actually are assigned partners? Thank you!

memmu 02/27/2007 #

Still can't see our partners...

nifwlseirff 02/27/2007 #

I was in a tea swap recently, and was unfortunately bitten by customs :-\ They took any tea that wasn't sealed and those that did not have ingredients listed on them. Bummer! First time I've had trouble with them (also the first time I'd received tea without ingredients listed!

If possible, please choose hot chocolate varieties (sealed). Normal tea (green/black, not herbal) that is sealed and has ingredients listed may also be allowed in (I haven't had problems with this). It may depend on whether the Australian customs officials are having a happy day. Thanks!

mnsqb 02/27/2007 #

I too still don't have my swap partner. I emailed dwezel this AM and when I didn't hear anything by noon I contacted swapbot. So, sooner or later we hopefully should have some action. According to dwezel's profile she may be having some sort of problems.

drewzel 02/27/2007 #

Hi all, Just letting you know that I've been trying to allocate the partners for this one, but the swap-bot keeps failing - I've tried about 8 times and it doesn't allocate them. Will mail swap bot and hopefully they will fix it. What I'll do is extend the send by date by a week to make up for the delay in assigning partners. thanks, steph xx

lilylemon 02/27/2007 #

Did you click "assign partners" link?

thomascl28 02/27/2007 #

i'm can't see my partners, but there's a comment right there about the date being extended, maybe that answers my question? i'm new to this and a bit nervous, i don't want to get a bad rating!

racheljohnson 02/27/2007 #

Hello swappers!

I am sorry about the swap assignment problems that the coordinator is having on this swap. We are looking into it and will hopefully have your partners assigned asap.

Thanks for your patience.

Heather71 02/28/2007 #

Mine's all ready and waiting, just need my partner's details. Won't be posting until Monday now though, tomorrow I have to wait in for a delivery that may or may not turn up and Friday I'm at my Daughter's school helping out in the garden all day (what was I thinking, it's supposed to rain!!!).

mwquilt 02/28/2007 #

I may not be able to mail out until the start of next week now, either. But if we do get partners before the end of the week, I will see if I can manage sooner. Will depend on whether the person I am paired with has very specific requirements listed.

gooddog56 02/28/2007 #

Hi Drewzel--

Thanks for organizing the swap, and thanks for giving us a bit extra time, with the difficulties Swab-Bot is having in assigning our partners...

moline 02/28/2007 #

ok., now I can relax - thought only i got it wrong. I am patient now and wait for news.

erinszoo 02/28/2007 #

Mine's all ready to be mailed as well. Just waiting for an address ! Hopefully swap-bot will fix the problems soon!

gooddog56 02/28/2007 #

Yay! The addresses are here...I'm off to the post office now... Toni, you should have the package by Monday or Tuesday!

racheljohnson 02/28/2007 #

Yes, the partners have now been assigned! Sorry for the inconvenience. Happy swapping! xoxo

mwquilt 02/28/2007 #

I see my partners name now. I am going to be mailing from the UK, so though I will send it airmail it could take 7-1o days to arrive.

Do I need to tell my partner to let her know this..or is my identity supposed to be secret until the package reaches her? Don't want her to think that she has been forgotten when all the ones from inside the USA started getting there first.

user5860 02/28/2007 #

yay partner!

szreader 02/28/2007 #

This will be my second swap - woo-hoo! I think I'd like to be surprised, both with something to read and something to drink. This is extremely fun -- sharing some of life's small pleasures!

lnick73 02/28/2007 #

Very excited for this swap. I love just about anything. My favorite magazines are foreign ones...or really good articles on anything crafty, mod home decorating or a story that is inspiring! My favorite hot drink is chai tea or citrus tea.

drewzel 02/28/2007 #

Finally fixed now! Thanks for your patience everyone!
Happy swapping!

user5648 02/28/2007 #

It is so funny who my partner is ;) 150 participants and swapbot picks you! I guess this coincidence is mathematicaly not likely to happen. lol

brokeneyeball 02/28/2007 #

is the deadline still the first?

nifwlseirff 02/28/2007 #

Has anyone else got the same person as the last article-tea swap? (not that I'm complaining!) ;>

EmilyBemily 03/ 1/2007 #

Sent mine today. Leaving France and on it's way to the USA. :)

lilylemon 03/ 1/2007 #

I'm sending mine today. Partner, please let me know when it arrives.

mwquilt 03/ 1/2007 #

I mailed my package today, from England, by airmail. Please could the partner I am sending to let me know when it arrives?

user6372 03/ 1/2007 #

I am very sorry, but because of the delay of the assigning of swap-partners I have not been able to send anything yet. I was away all yesterday and today. I will send tomorrow. I hope that if something like this happens again in the future that you prolong the "send by" date, because not everyone have the possibility to send on a days and a half notice (e.g. I travel a lot with my work), and I do of course not want to get a bad rating because of a delayed assigning of partners... My two cents; what do you think?

candyrage 03/ 1/2007 #

hi MOONSTONEGAIL your package went out today...hope you like it!

user6362 03/ 1/2007 #

Hi, Melfil, I sent your package today from U.S. Hope you enjoy it.

Liseanne27 03/ 1/2007 #

I need more time too. I won't be able to send until Monday as I will be out of town. I'm going to do my best to get something out soon but was planning on getting everything together this past Monday and Tuesday.

brokeneyeball 03/ 1/2007 #

I sent my package out today from arizona to Jane George in massachusets. I hope you like it! :)

raydance 03/ 1/2007 #

Mine went out today to Mrs Wood! Sorry the postmark is a day late. >< Hope you get it soon and enjoy it! =D

SamSpice 03/ 1/2007 #

pixy613, yours is in the mail!

user6330 03/ 1/2007 #

Posted airmail today to the USA! IN to be exact. We are a day ahead here so it may be marked a day later:(

todsahonchik 03/ 1/2007 #

Sent mine today to China. Hope you enjoy, Singapore.

lilylemon 03/ 2/2007 #

Hi, Carmen! I got the article today. Thanks! LOL, I'm not a mother to human children, just the four-legged variety, but I do enjoy a little escapism, as I'm a teacher with 145 students! :0 Thanks -- I can't wait to read the article!

girlontherocks 03/ 2/2007 #

If my partner hasn't sent anything yet I just wanted to let you know that I like all kinds of teas and hot drinks.

Tod Sahonchik, I got your package today, thanks! The article's really fun, I think I might try it out once I get some time to myself. =p Also, a minor detail, but Singapore's not in China, we're a nation-state country. =D

mwquilt 03/ 8/2007 #

WOW I received a wonderful parcel from Anne Marie today. Thank you so much, I love everything and my daughter will love her bits too. A+ from me.

brokeneyeball 03/ 8/2007 #

There's a lot of 'not sent' is there anyway I could know if i will not be receiving anything..or if my partner might still send something out? or if its already on its way over?

I love receiving things, this swap was a fun one, but it really sucks to not get anything..

brokeneyeball 03/ 8/2007 #

oh, wait, nevermind. I guess the 'sent by' date got changed afterall.

Well thats good, I had not realized. thanks.

user5105 03/ 8/2007 #

I am so terribly sorry! I always manage to be a day late. I have sent out the package today and will hopefully get there not too late.

user4010 03/ 9/2007 #

Ack! I got my tea and articles the other day but now I can't remember who sent them think think think What a dork am I?

Anyway, the tea was delish, and I found the article about pre-emptive envy really interesting. Thanks!

Eve 03/ 9/2007 #

So sorry - my first time. I waited to get the info via e-mail on who my partner was (as the e-mail said), but never received anything and then my mind went goofy on me and I totally forgot to follow up. My surprise will go out in tomorrow's mail!

myrrhmaid 03/ 9/2007 #

jewels1 03/12/2007 #

FuntoScrap, Thank you

jewels1 03/12/2007 #

Sorry, hit the send button too quick . . .

FuntoScrap,

Thank you so much, you sent me the whole magazine, and such a nice long letter! What a nice surprise! You are right, it does seem odd to receive a package from a stranger with no note or anything, I always try to include some kind of a note too, just to make it a little more personal. I've never tried Eggnog Tea before, it's sounds dee-lish. I'm saving it all for after my kids go to bed tonight, then I'll cozy up on the couch with a quilt and a cat (or a dog, whichever wins the "I get to sit with Mom" fight, tee! hee!) and my magazine and tea . . . ahhhhhhh . . .

Thank you again, you made my day! Jewels

mwquilt 03/13/2007 #

Overanxious newbie here....on edge until I know my little packet has reached its destination safely.

I sent my stuff from UK to DDMaree on 1 March and I haven't heard that it arrived yet. I am really hoping that it isn't lost, but of course, customs may be taking and interest in the tea bag. It was a commercially sealed one though, so I wouldn't expect they would hold it up.

Maybe it will arrive in the next couple of days. If it doesn't, I will be sending a replacement and messaging DDMaree and our Host to let them know.

Fingers crossed everyone.

user6285 03/13/2007 #

Hi, I did finally get my package in the mail yesterday, I did send it Priority Mail, so it should arrive soon. I can't find where i mark that I sent my package, know there is a place, but can't find it.

dandelion 03/14/2007 #

Hi mwquilt! Sorry to be slow to let you know that yes, indeed, I did receive your WONDERFUL article and tea bags! No replacement necessary, everything arrived safely in PERFECT condition. Thank you so much!! HEARTS TO YOU!! :D

mwquilt 03/14/2007 #

Phew..that's a big relief..just received a message that the swap packet I sent has reached its destination. That's my first swap completed...all I have to do now is wait for the trader rating facility to be available and rate my partner.

debbi 03/14/2007 #

Another newbie here... Cookiebear, did my packet make it there yet, or should I send another out?

E11enT 03/14/2007 #

Hi Baglady, great article - I love entertaining and I'm going to brew the Pomegranate tea right now. I've never experienced it before. Thanks.

mediatinker 03/16/2007 #

Bummer, my swap partner (with a 1 rating) was marked as not sent and now her profile's deleted. I'll have to hope for a better partner in for next month's tea & magazine page swap.
