"In every woman, there is: A Believer, A Survivor, A Fighter, A Warrior in Pink!" In honor of National Breast Cancer Month, which is Ocotber, you will make a donation to any charity that supports a breast cancer cause. You may also, rather than making a direct monetary donation - may choose to volunteer time by driving a cancer patient to an appointment or offerring a free service you provide to a cancer patient/survivor, knit a pink hat for someone who has lost their hair or help raise money by particpating in a walk-a-thon, etc. The ways you can give back and help support breast cancer are endless! Get creative!!!!!! You will then send a letter to your swap partner denoting the charity, amount/type of your donation and why you chose that specific charity. You can make the donation in honor of a loved one and also perhaps get your employer to match the donation. Check out my breast cancer website for cool pictures, articles, facts and unique breast cancer projects: http://www.myspace.com/pinkribbondiva This is a USA ONLY swap and you will have (1) one partner. Newbies with completed profiles are welcome to join, as well as, anyone else with a 4.5 or higher rating. My mother died of breast cancer when she was only 37 years old and I was only 5 years old. I am a survivor myself . . . so this is a cause near & dear to me and one I live for everyday. So thank you for considering this swap. |
