Description:

I've hosted this exact swap previously, and it was literally life changing. It REALLY helped me make some positive changes, and I've made a great friend who continues to motivate me. This swap is a lot of work, but it's a great way to kick off a journey toward our goals.

Do you have a goal you're trying to obtain or a routine you're trying to establish, and a little bit of motivation and encouragement may go a long way? Then this . . . THIS is the swap for you!

You will be assigned 1 partner who, for a month, will be your accountability buddy. The first part of this swap is to establish with one another your goal(s), plan of action, and a brief explanation of why this is your goal. Ex: I want to accomplish_____. I will do so by _____. I want to accomplish this because _____. You should do this right away, the day partners are assigned - I suggest getting this drafted up and ready to be sent while waiting for partner assignments.

Secondly, you and your partner will exchange a message at least three times a week (more if you so choose), for 30 days, via any means you prefer: swap-bot, Facebook, email, etc. to check in and ask if you did your part for the day. Ex: "Did you write in your journal today?" "Did you make it to the gym?" "Did you start that paper?" Also feel free to discuss your own progress. Note: You will be exchanging emails with two partners - your 'send to' partner AND your 'receives from' partner, but the final part applies only to your 'send to' partner ... unless you're feeling extra generous :)

Finally, after 30 days of having your accountability buddy, you will have 2 weeks to send a small, profile based or goal based gift with a short letter/note outlining the result of the swap. Ex: I write in my journal daily now, I don't procrastinate any longer, etc. The gift can be purchased OR you can make something; it can be chosen just because it is something your partner likes OR something that reflects their accomplishment - feel free to put feelers out there during your month of exchanges! :)

This swap has a lot of components, and so, I've labeled it a Type 3 swap since it's a month's worth of work and a small package will be mailed in the end. Because there are so many components, a lot of work involved, and a gift involved, you must have a 5.00 to participate, and newbies with no ratings will not be able to join at this time. This is going to be a USA only swap; I will consider hosting an international version if demand is high. Everyone who signs up should have a well filled out profile displaying likes, dislikes, etc.

ANY questions, feel free to contact me.

You have this listed as an International swap, but description says it's USA only.
