This swap is for a collaboration Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA) postcard. It is usually hosted by @PrairieKittin If this is your first round, take a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock (heavy enough to go through the mail.) Address the postcard to yourself. Divide the writing portion into 4 sections, so everyone one can write their names, where they're from, tangles used, and date sent. You can add a little note if you'd like. On the front of the postcard, add a ZIA piece. Leave enough room for 3 other artists to add their work. Please do not add any strings. Let your partners work their own magic. For example, you could draw a Zentangle cat. Your other partners would add items that go with your cat. The idea is to get back a cohesive piece of Zentangle Inspired Artwork. Put the postcard into an envelope and send it to your partner. When you receive a postcard, add some elements that keep to the theme that has been started. Sign your name and other info on the other side, and send it in an envelope to your partner. Please do not send the artist who started the card their own card back to work on. If you get assigned the original artist as a partner, simply start a new card, and hang on to the other one until the next round. When 4 people (including the original artist) have worked on the postcard, put a stamp on it and mail it home naked (no envelope). If you are the 4th person to work on the postcard and you send it home, you will need to start a new card for you assigned partner in the next round. |
