Please Read - I just want to remind everyone that the items you are sending should all be profile based. You should be going directly off of what your partner list that they enjoy. This will most likely involve shopping at multiple places and/or shopping online. Please choose things that they will enjoy not just things you enjoy or are kinda sorta but not really what they like. Take the time to find things specifically for them. If you're having troubles just ask them. Most people are more than happy to help. And make sure your profile is well filled out to help your partner. Thank you and happy swapping - Zelda

Let's face it, life has been crappy this last year. And to top it all off the last Dec/Jan delivered me some real whammies! I don't know about you but I could really use some happy. If you are feeling the same way then join me in the 5th installment of my In A Box! Swap.

Swap Details

You must be 5.00 rated for this swap. I also understand that sometimes there might be 1 swap that throws off a rating. Message me if you want to be considered.

For this swap you will send 1 person a box full of items to create instant "Happiness". Think of it as one of those "Of the Month" or "Cratejoy" styled boxes that are curated to a certain theme. This will be a box with items specially chosen for your partner to help them just be... happy.

  • Box Size - The minimum size of box you should use is a small flat rate priority box. This is the minimum! You are highly encouraged to go bigger. You should fill your box as much as possible. You may also use a mailer/envelope if it works better for you but it should be able to hold at least as much as the minimum sized box.

  • What to Send - Please make sure to follow these requirements.

    • Minimum $$ - This swap has a $15 minimum for a spending amount NOT including shipping or items you already have. This means you need to be spending at least $15 on items for this swap.

    • Profile Based - All of the items you send should be profile based. This swap is all about sending things that will make your partner happy. Please make sure to stick to their likes and dislikes. If you are having trouble you can always reach out to your partner and ask questions.

    • Card with a Letter - This must be included. Store bought or very nicely handmade card (no postcards/flat cards) with a letter. Take the time to talk to your partner. Maybe tell them why you chose the items you sent, talk about any common interests you have or anything else you like. The letter does not have to be real long but it should be more than a sentence or two.

    • New or Like New - You should be purchasing new items for this swap but you may also include items you already have as long as they are new or like new condition.

    • Minimum of 5 Different Types - You should include a minimum of 5 different types of items in your box. For example - 3 Washi Tapes and 2 Snacks only count as 2 types.

    • Optional - Wrap your gifts festively and decorate the outside of the box. This is completely optional but highly recommended.

    • This is NOT a swap to get rid of random stuff you do not want.

  • Ideas - You want to send your partner a box full of fun. Take a careful look at your partner's profile and try to chose things you think they will like. Here are some ideas...

    • Book - Do they like to read? Give them a new book to curl up with.

    • Movie - Are they a movie lover? Maybe a new one to enjoy.

    • Snack - Everyone loves snacks! Make sure to respect your partner's needs when it comes to food and drink.

    • Drink - Tea, coffee or maybe some cocoa.

    • Game - Does your partner love a good game? Think jigsaw puzzle, card game, crossword puzzle book, logic puzzle book, escape room game/book, etc. There are so many ideas in this group.

    • Adult Coloring - Maybe they enjoy relaxing to some coloring. A book themed in something they enjoy might be a fun surprise.

    • Yarn - If they are a crocheter or knitter you can never go wrong with yarn!

    • Paper Crafting Supplies - Is your partner crafty with paper? Then maybe some new supplies would put a smile on their face. Pretty papers, colorful pens or a roll of washi tape.

    • Or anything else you think they might like. Be creative and really try to come up with something fun.

The Fine Print

  • This is a profile based swap. Each person should make sure their profile is well filled out with ideas. The more info you give the better chance your partner has to send you something you'll enjoy.

  • This swap is for 5.00 ratings only.

  • No current late swaps.

  • You must have completed at least 10 swaps that are category 3.

  • You must have signed on to Swap-Bot within 4 days before partners are assigned.

  • Make sure to add the name of the swap and your username somewhere in your swap.

  • I reserve the right to ban anyone that I deem necessary.

  • Only sign up if you have the time, the money and are willing to ship on time.

  • I will angel if needed. Please contact your partner first and try to work things out. Be kind. Be patient. Be understanding. If you cannot work things out, and you have rated your partner a 1, then message me.
