Hi all! Here's our group swap for April through May. Thanks for suggesting it in the Group Forum. The stories will be written in FOUR stages, and you will receive a formal rating from your partner once you've sent her (or him?) your STAGE ONE. If you really need to drop out after that, please let me know so that another writer can step into your slot. You will have two weeks to complete each stage of the story. Your contribution for each stage should be one A4 typed page - so the completed stories will be four pages long. The person who writes the final page, posts the story in the Group Forum - you'll find a sticky created for the purpose - and all of us will enjoy all our stories. I will message all participants once the swap starts to let you know the order for the Round Robin. You will send your STAGE ONE to the partner that swap-bot assigns. After that you'll keep on sending each consecutive stage to the Round Robin partner on the list you'll get from me. Okay - let's go! Stage ONE deadline for emailing: 20 April content: Introduce a character. The character's name becomes the working title of the story. Stage TWO deadline for emailing: 4 May content: the character encounters a problem Stage THREE deadline for emailing: 18 May content: the character sets about solving the problem stage FOUR deadline for POSTING ON GROUP FORUM: 1 June content: the surprise outcome of the character's course of action. Before posting the completed story in the group forum, the person who wrote stage FOUR can devise a fitting title, or just keep the character's name as the title. I'm looking forward to reading your creations! Let's keep in mind that this is for FUN - so don't get stressed and agonise over it. Just plunge in and write! It does not matter how silly and farfetched it gets. Let's just DO it! The link I posted under "swap home page" takes you to an idea for an ATC Round Robin along similar lines. You'll get the picture! |
