Description: | |
For this swap we will be doing the paper piecing technique. You can either do die cut paper piecing or stamping paper piecing whichever you prefer and what you make for your partner is up to you. It can be a journal card, ATC, card, tag, etc. If you are sending a card, it is not required to include an envelope, but leave the card blank for your partner to use. There are a lot of tutorials on Pinterest and YouTube for this technique. I have included three examples for you to get an idea what the technique is about. The stamping paper piecing is a fun way to use up scraps of paper you may have collected and the die cut technique is a fun way to use up those jelly prints and art papers you have or scraps as well. For the stamping paper piecing technique CLICK HERE and CLICK HERE and for the die cut paper piecing CLICK HERE. You do not have to follow the tutorials exactly. These are just to give you an idea of how the technique works. Use your imagination and have fun. There are many, many possibilities. NOTE: Picture is from one of the tutorials. |
