Here's a way to get rid of those unused Christmas cards left over from previous years and get some fresh ones to mail out this year. You may think it's way too early to do this, but the holidays have a way of creeping up on you, and by the time you realize it, it's too late! (Don't ask me how I know ...) Please also see my identical swap for religious Christmas cards. If there is interest, I might even create an international version. You will be assigned two partners. Send each partner 4 - 6 nice unused, mint-condition non-religious Christmas cards with matching envelopes. Send four if your cards are the large, fancy, foil-embellished ones, six if they are smaller and less showy, five if they are somewhere in between. If in doubt, opt to send more than necessary, never fewer. The cards can be all the same or assorted. Store-bought and beautifully handmade cards are welcome -- as are cards with text in any language -- but in order to keep a sharp focus here, let's limit this swap to secular Christmas cards (rather than other winter holidays). A minimum rating average of 4.95 is required to participate, and you should have at least five completed and rated (as 5s) type-2 or type-3 swaps under your belt. I reserve the right to ban anyone for any reason. I will angel, if necessary, but please don't make that necessary. Partners will be assigned on June 25th, and your cards should be mailed soon after that, by July 6th at the latest. Since this is sender's choice, you can go ahead and get your cards ready now, while we're waiting for partners to be assigned. Any questions? Just post in the comments below or message me. |
