International mail, 1 partner, flat mail / cost of one stamp to send

Hello all, I'm back! I'm going to host a few swaps here that will hopefully be quick, fun swaps. These will be postal swaps but you can send a notecard OR letter OR postcard - sender's choice - with your reply.

I'm in the USA, and in November, we celebrate Thanksgiving on the last Thursday of the month (This year it is the 28th). The history of the holiday is suspect, I'll admit. And many people have a bad view of Thanksgiving - either the over eating, the dealing with family you would rather avoid, all the work to make the meal - or look at it as a day off to get ready for "the official start of the Christmas season" and black Friday shopping. But for ME, it is my favorite holiday! I see Thanksgiving as a time to take a break, be with the people you care about, think about what you have in life to be thankful for, hopes for the coming year, and it's a chance for me to take time to cook special foods I only make once a year - and sometimes I even get to have some help in the kitchen, and that's a lot of fun too! I practice gratitude every day, but Thanksgiving is a little extra special for me.

So, with that in mind, we will do a series of 4 weekly swaps where you will send your partner a postal message telling them something you are thankful for. It can be something simple, like happy mail or a text that made you smile, or it can be something more involved like a great compliment at work or a fun surprise. OR anything in between. You can make this as personal or as light as you wish. If you can fit your answer on a postcard that you'd like to send out to the world, that is fine. Or include your thankful reflection in a card or letter - sender's choice.

And, this is an International swap - even if you're not in the USA, you are still welcomed to join us in celebrating what you are thankful for. :)

As I said, you CAN send a postcard with your answer, as long as you can answer the prompt fully on the card. It's always best to check partner profiles for likes/wishes, but in the end, this will be sender's choice.

Include the swap name and your SB ID. Be sure to use the right amount of postage and send on time!

Questions? Comments? Concerns? Send me a PM and I'll respond as soon as I can! Please do NOT leave comments below, I probably won't see them until assigning partners!
