G: Watch and Review

International, 1 partner, time intensive but flat to mail

I've had an idea for a while that I've wanted to try, but couldn't figure out how to make it happen. I'm hoping this makes sense, and that you like this idea! I got this idea from one of my favorite podcasts, "The Activity Continues". On the show, the two (sometimes 3) hosts watch an episode of a paranormal show, make notes and writes a review to share with the other host, and the audience. They started with "The Dead Files" but have been branching off to other shows. Since we are all in different places, and have access to different viewing options, you will choose a show and episode to watch and you will review the show and the episode to your partner. You don't have to watch the whole season or series! Just one episode (at a minimum, feel free to do others if you like.) These shows can be from any service, any channel, etc. In the US (at least), Tubi and Pluto TV are free to join and watch, and I believe both channels have some sort of paranormal shows. Or, you can choose a series on You Tube. Make sense?

OK, for the swap, write a little bit about the show you are choosing to view. Some info you can choose to include would be the hosts/ stars, the summary of the show, the years the show was on, which channels or services the show is on. You can find a lot of that information on IMDb.com or Wikipedia.

Then, tell your partner the season/ episode you are reviewing. Share the location, if you have that. As you watch the episode, keep notes throughout the episode. For instance, if I were to review an episode of The Dead Files, I might say or think to myself "Really Steve? It's not the dogs! It's never the dogs!" :) Or if I was watching something for the first time, and I guessed something that would come up later, I might say "it's the client that is haunted, not the property." So, my thoughts, observations, etc. Does that make sense?

When the episode is finished, write 1-2 lines, at least, about your thoughts for the episode. You can also comment on whether you would watch the show again, would recommend it, etc.

Not a requirement, but if you do have a question at the end that you end up doing some research on, feel free to share that with your partner. Or, if you have experience at the location or in the area of the episode, you can choose to share your thoughts.
