I have always enjoyed studying the different symbols and colors that signify the Christian faith. My favorites are the dove, the butterfly, and angel, and of course the cross (and there are many kinds of crosses)....just to name a few! In this swap, you will send your partner a piece of jewelry (earrings, necklace, bracelet, pin....you get it) with a Christian symbol and you can incorporate some liturgical colors if you'd like. You can purchase the item or it can be handmade if you enjoy jewelry making. Use your imagination and the skills you have to make something your partner will appreciate. Include a short note about why you chose that symbol and what it means. There are lots of websites out there you can search to find some of these interesting symbols. (I just found http://www.christiansymbols.net/index.php.......this might be very helpful.) This should not be an expensive swap. Just send something you would be happy to receive!! You can post in the comment section a certain type of jewelry (ie, earrings, etc...) that you simply can't use. The symbol and or colors will be sender's choice. You must have a rating of 4.9 or higher with no unexplained 1's in the last 3 months. You must have at least 5 completed and rated package swaps. I'll be checking each participant right before I assign partners. I can't angel, so PLEASE do not sign up for this swap unless you can fulfill your obligation. |
