For this swap, take a photo of a sign that catches your eye, and make it into a postcard. (Or, find a picture of a sign on the 'net, and make a nice postcard out of it.) The postcard will be sent without envelope to your 1 partner, so be sure and make them sturdy for mailing.

Any kind of sign is fine. With words, or without words; sometimes just the symbol or picture on the sign is enough to convey that message.... : )

Does this have to be a handmade postcard, or can it be a store bought card?
