Please no glitter!!
Due to COVID-19, there will be postal delays. If you are in a country other than Canada I imagine these delays will be worse. Please message me before you rate if you have not received the swap goodies. I can resend if the mail has not reached you. Otherwise, please be patient because if I marked the item as sent I have sent it! I also take pictures of each of my swaps ☺️
Hello, my name is Emily! I am studying to be a high school teacher. I will be able to teach English, philosophy, social science and fine art. The subject I enjoy most is philosophy, especially metaphysics, with fine art as a close second. I also enjoy science, especially quantum physics.
I moved to a Christmas tree farm on April Fool's Day in 2020. It is my first time living in the country. It has always been my dream to live in the country and I am loving it! I enjoy ATVing, hiking, swimming in the river and just being in nature. I love listening to the howling coyotes at night. They make a group yipping noise when they catch their dinner! The stars are also so beautiful!
I live in a military town with a large number of hunters. Even the mail truck has a hunting sticker on it, which I find quite comical. This has taken some getting used to as a vegetarian who is not a fan of violence. I am not used to so many gunshots and explosions! I think, however, that it is important to be open minded to different perspectives. I really enjoy learning about different practices, behaviors (psychology), viewpoints and lifestyles. Please feel free to include your opinions, thoughts, lifestyle etc. in your swaps about any topic or perspective. I am not easily offended.
I have a dog named Koby, an Australian kelpie & husky mix, and a rabbit named Miss Maisy Bunjamin (Maisy for short), a French lop. They are good friends who play fetch together, do tricks together and cuddle together. They are both rescues.
I occasionally come home with injured or abandoned animals that I find on walks. Koby always helps me take good care of them, while my boyfriend shakes his head. When I told my friend that he's limited me to two pets she laughed and said "he'll learn." Haha!
I am an active artist and regularly show and publish my work. Please see my website above if you are interested in seeing my work.
I also guest lecture in animal behavior studies at Humber College. I do a lot of activism work for students with disabilities with a focus on making service dogs more accessible for people who need them. I started the first self-trained service dog legislation/testing program for high school students in Ontario and won a hall of fame award when the program went national!

i did finish it! I was kinda shocked.. I don't know if a movie can do it justice. If you ever come across another book that good let me know. I start so many books and put them down by page 2, I'll just keep reading cookbooks
I am excited you are my partner for my favorite word swap. I enjoyed reading your bio, we don't have all that much in common except I love nature also! I have a bird sanctuary in my yard along with a butterfly/humming bird garden. I live on a beautiful 10 acres of shady old oak trees. and only read one book in the last two years and it Where the crawdads sing. loved it. didn't want to finish it. It is being made into a movie.
