I've been collecting for years -- 4 x 6 inch (10 x 15 cm) and prefer a single view. Preferences include cityscapes, northern Spain, smaller towns, and mountain vistas (although all quality postcards are welcome, except advertising or war monuments.) If you're REALLY interested (smile) I prefer my postcards blank -- and to arrive in an envelope. I'm a fourth grade teacher, make small books, hook rugs, and needlepunch (in the old Russian way). After growing up in Indiana, I moved to southern California (living one year abroad, mostly in Paris). Northern Spain and Paris are favorite spots, and although you might never guess from looking at me, I'm part Native American.

re: "spell s-n-o-w" with Opus > borders books had a box of them on sale for $1 & i figured they would come in handy {didn't read the column, but i like cartoons in general - cut lil' bird, heh) however, the cards were all a bit catawampus ... not like it was easy enough for them to re-print a few comix strips, oh no. apparently, they went for an artistic [weird] way of making the cards, so {sigh} they actually are not that cool ... strange. but anywho . . . there's a story, huh? ;-)
