I found a dead mountain beaver the other day in our driveway, too bad I couldn't have sent you the skeleton as a curiosity. It would have been a while till that stage, and nasty too to wait for the meat to rot off. Man you should have seen the claws and teeth on that bad boy. They are rare to see. It had really beautiful long whiskers that were studded with shiny rain drops, but ugly yellow nasty teeth, otherwise cute. It was laying on its back perfectly symetrical with all 4 limbs in the air. No idea whatsoever how it got there or why it was laying tits up like that. Wished I'd have taken a photo before flinging it into the woods.
