I graduated this past spring from SBC in Virginia; I studied Spanish and Philosophy. I love bright colors (green and orange are my favorites) and funny, quirky things (yay for sarcasm). I especially love deer. I'm sorta geeky so geek-related humor rocks my socks. :-P
I have a pair of crazy ferrets named Charlotte and Wheatley and they just might be the most adorable pets ever. :-)
I'm a vegetarian, and I've been called a bit of a hippie at times.
Feel free to message me if you have any issues/concerns about a swap we were in, or if you're interested in a private swap.
NOTE: - I'm allergic to most artificial fragrances found in lotions, soaps, etc, so please do not send me anything scented unless you know for sure that it's natural.
BOOKS- I love to read. I love the Earth's Children series by Jean M Auel, anything by TC Boyle, and Stephen King, though my bookshelf is always very eclectic. I'm starting to get into the Song of Fire and Ice series by George R.R. Martin now.
MOVIES- My favorite movies include: Beauty and the Beast, Lost in Translation, and 500 Days of Summer. I'm also into sci-fi and action movies, but they have to have good plots. :-P
TV- I watch House, Dexter, The Office, True Blood, Family Guy and Robot Chicken when I actually have time to watch TV. I just started getting into MadMen and Dr Who.
MUSIC- I love all music with solid percussion and/or quality lyrics. My all-time favorite artist is Ani DiFranco. I also listen to Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Ben Harper, Gaia Consort, and Death Cab for Cutie. I used to DJ for the college radio station. If you've got any good suggestions (I tend to like instrumental and indie) please feel free to share!
I noticed most of my partners had these up so I thought I'd add it too. Be sure to note that I rate with hearts when I think the swap was thoughtful/well done, not just when there are extras (meaning extras don't necessarily result in hearts if the swap wasn't well done).
*blank notepads/journals *interesting playing cards (don't need a full deck) *stickers *Ferret/Rat- related items *address labels! *things in other languages, especially advertisements (please translate if you know what it means) *items of Pagan/Wiccan interest, or those that promote religious/intellectual freedom
I prefer non-touristy PC's, like art and pop culture ones, but I'll take anything you have, really. :-P
If you have no clue what to send me, just write me a note talking about something you're interested in, or suggest music or a website for me to check out. :-)
Things I would NOT like to receive: *classical religious imagery (modern artsy religious imagery is ok) *Christmas-related items *(American) Patriotic/Nationalistic items *Items promoting guns/hunting
While I can get to a PO to send stuff during the week, I can only get to my own PO box about once a week. I promise I will rate the day I receive, but please be aware of this when you're waiting for your rating!
