Hello from a small village under a castle in Germany 😊

I am 33 years old, married to a wonderful wife and father of a little daughter who has been our everything since 2020.

People often describe me as a “scanner personality” because I am interested in many different things and love learning something new all the time. Some of my hobbies are playing guitar, juggling, photography, repairing electronics (I somehow became the family mobile phone repair service 😄) and currently learning Italian.

I work as a nurse on a cancer unit in a hospital, so coffee is an important part of my life — especially double espresso.

Since 2023 I have been the owner of a little house with a small forest nearby. I love nature, quiet walks and the magical moments when animals suddenly appear in the garden.

My favorite band is Imagine Dragons, but I also love music from the 60s and 70s, especially rock music.

I really love plants, so I spend a lot of time taking care of them. I play the acoustic guitar and enjoy reading books — especially classic literature, thrillers, and fantasy novels. I am what some people call a “scanner personality” because I love learning new things and exploring many different interests. I am very interested in electronics, so I often repair mobile phones for my family members. I also practice juggling, enjoy going for runs, and sometimes do small workouts in my little home gym. I am definitely coffee addicted — especially to espresso (double… double 😄). I also love tea: green and black tea in the evenings, and fruit tea during the colder months.

I joined Swap-bot because I missed the wonderful feeling of international exchange I had as a child with penpals on Interpals. A few months ago I started Postcrossing and absolutely loved the idea that a postcard is travelling through the world to finally arrive in my little village in Germany. Now I would also love to exchange little packages, postcards and small pieces of everyday life with people around the world.
