My FAVORITE TREE in my yard! A Grant'sys GREY BEARD... It was from my Grandmother's tree and it smells SO GREAT early Spring! I bring sprigs into the house! ;-)
Another favorite we have plenty of here is the Magnolia TREE! ;-)

We recycle regularly, our whole city has paper glass and metal pick up. We voluntarily run two home composers in our garden and drop off usable goods at community swaps.

We conserve water by filling buckets with the cold water from the shower as we're waiting for it to warm up, then using it to water veggie plants. We also bike instead of drive around town as much as we can.
