I grew up in MIami, Florida, and now that I'm living in the St. Louis area, I'm always missing the ocean. I am a Christian, a wife, a speech/language pathologist, a member of Toastmasters International and a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association. I have a Westie (dog), and too many activities and hobbies, including public speaking, various paper arts, exchanging mail art, flea markets and resale shops, reading, hot tea, decorating around the house and indoor gardening, cooking, walking/hiking especially when combined with letterboxing. I love meeting people from different countries, learning about their cultures, trying their food, etc.
Origami, stamp carving and rubber stamping, visual journals, mail art, ATCs, beaded jewelry. I'm starting to relearn tatting learn some decorative knotting, too.
Pop/rock of the 70s and 80's, "space music" (as in "Music from the Hearts of Space" radio program), smooth jazz, classical, and a little blue grass.
Merlin, Regenesis (Canadian SciFi), Star Trek and Star Gate series
I read a lot of non-fiction related to my various interests. Love Barbara Hodgeson's beautifully illustrated novels. If you like Nick Bantock, check her out!

Thank you for the lovely angeled ATC for the It's About Time swap! That was the first ATC swap I had done on Swap-bot and it was disappointing that it was also the first one I had been flaked on. Thanks for doing this for me!
Merry Christmas!
