I'm a geek through and through.
I like flavoured coffees and fruity black tea when it's cold, and water flavourings when it's hot.
I listen to podcasts and superhero soundtracks while I work.
I'm a linguistics nerd, I love word etymology and speak five languages.
I'm a Girl Guide leader and love swapping badges. I'm collecting badges and patches to sew onto a campfire blanket. (By this I do not mean TM patches) I'm also looking for Girl Guide/Girl Scout Troops of any age to do pen pal exchanges with for my girls. Even though I'm not a leader for some ages, I help out regularly with almost every age level.
Preferred colours: "Manly Woodsy", jewel tones, harlot red, green/blue combos. (I've put this in mainly for notecards and package swaps)
I like negative space, I don't like things that look cluttered.
Stargate SG1, Firefly, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, The Room, The West Wing
All the Avengers movies! Cool Runnings, Boondock Saints, The Illusionist, Amelie, The Great Race, Les Miserables, Lord of the Rings. 1950's Disney movies like Pollyana, Toby Tyler, and Babes in Toyland.
I sew, knit, crochet and scrapbook.
I admire all three, as well as cross-stich/embroidery, leather crafting, wood burning.
I'm new to the postcard exchange game. I'm not quite sure what I should be posting here. I'm willing to try almost anything.
I know I like city skylines and animals. I like non-standard camera angles. I love pictures that when you look at them a second time, you see something you didn't catch the first time around. I'm ambivalent about vintage.
I'll giggle at humour and sarcastic postcards, but am not open to religious or scripture postcards.
Watching for the First Time: Once Upon A Time Rewatching: Stargate SG1 Reading Non-Fiction: Youthnation, and a Hillary Clinton biography(I've been given both in order to post a review) Reading Fiction: Nothing at the moment :( Sewing: Cowl neck shirt Knitting: Socks
Die cuts, handmade greeting card fronts that can be attached to a card(less weight for postage)

still waiting for your tag for the half dozen pcs?
I must remove you from Beginners Cross Stitch. You have two unaddressed 1's and you have 4 unsent swaps. Get these cleared up and you are welcome back.
Welcome to Swap-Bot. Hope you're having lots of fun swapping here. Take care!!
I must have a look through my daughter's Girl Guide patch collection and see what I can send you, with the animal postcard.
