I live in Montreal, Canada. I like to cook, bake, travel (used to do it a lot, now just in my dreams), read, write, be a mom, watch films, garden, and pet my cat and hamster. I like animals. I like libraries. I love stationery shops. I own my own business and don't have a lot of time for letter writing anymore, though I love it! I am an erratic pen pal - either I write back right away, or... not so right away. I like to go to live orchestral concerts and operas, museums and sights, and restaurants. If I were independently wealthy, I'd be a stay-at-home mom and spend my time writing and cooking all day.
I don't usually do tuck-ins and I still have no idea how to use washi tape. My letters tend to be haphazard and using whatever stain-free paper I can find.
When I try to sound intellectual, I say I like: Sound and the Fury, Jane Eyre, Hunger Games, Mill on the Floss, North and South (Elizabeth Gaskell, not John Jakes)
But secretly I read lots of alien/werewolf/shifter/vampire/historical romance books like Anne Bishop, Shelly Laurenston, Nalini Singh. And, of course, tons of picture books. Am rereading Julia Quinn's books now.
Crazy Rich Asians, The Jane Austen Book Club, Return to Me, Princess Bride, Pygmalion, Gosford Park, The Trotsky
(no tv, so I'm a slave to what's available online) Bridgerton, Bling Empire, The Queen's Gambit, The Crown, Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes (BBC), Big Bang Theory, Castle, Bones, NCIS (original and New Orleans), Firefly, So You Think You Can Dance, The West Wing, Friends, Anne with an E, Call the Midwife, Instant Hotel, cooking shows, Bar Rescue, anything Animal Planet
Broadway, movie soundtracks, opera, concertos, Russian classical, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, funny country, the Laurie Bruckner Band
I actually don't listen to a lot of music

You're the second swapper to ask me that! I'm so glad people have been having fun with it. Yes, I'll host it again, soon.
Hey you! Do you plan on hosting another round of the "Crossed letter" swap? I missed the last one, but it sounds like such an incredibly awesome idea!
Rachel, thank you for your sweet note...what a surprise! I hope you'll keep on swapping despite a difficult start; you're the kind of swapper that lifts my heart!
