My name is Sara. I was born and raised in Boise Idaho. I've been married for about 2 years but we've been together for 8.5 years. 3 cats and 2 dogs are our only children at the moment.

I just got back into swapping and somethings have changed a little, like swap types. I don't fully know the difference between them, or care, I just want to make pretty things. I also think the pickiness of ratings has gotten a little out of control. I've been flaked on many times both with receiving swaps and being rated for my sends. Each one of them was a 5.00 rating before they flaked. Bottom line, I just want to create and I see swap-bot as a way to get ideas, assignments and deadlines, a way to get my creative juices flowing. A way to receive and see other unique creations. As long as you follow the guidelines, I will be grateful for your creations. Don't get too hung up on my likes and dislikes, I just want your art!

I like just about anything but "new" Country. I love Folky music like Jewel and Fiona Apple. Classic 80's are nice sometimes like Michael Jackson. Angry chick like Artificial Joy Club. I enjoy all around bands like Live and Collective Soul. I also dig some heavy stuff like System of a Down, Evanescence and Tool

I love SciFi. Catswold Portal is my all time favorite. I have fallen in love with Patricia Briggs and have read almost all of her books, Mercy Thompson series is my favorite. I was into detective/murder mystery for a while. I love the David Peltzer books. I love James Finn Garner and his politically correct bedtime stories and Ray Bradburry especially "Fahrenheit 451." I also collect some poetry and quote books. Haven't read much lately, but I miss it.

I'm a total dweeb! I love stupid movies like Biodome and Idiocracy. I love the spoof movies. Pretty much anything by Tim Burton, Jim Henson, Kevin Smith, the Red Curtain Series, some M. Night Shyamalan, the X-Men and Pirates movies.. I love the visual movies, action, mystery, horror, pretty much all of them. Not so excited about chick flicks.

I LOVE South Park, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, True Blood, Once upon a Time, Grimm, Ghost Whisperer, and The New Girl. I love to laugh. Lately my guilty pleasure has been Ru Paul's Drag Race. I also love old school cartoons like Uncanny X-Men. I don't really like reality TV much, some of those shows sicken me.

*Stars, and celestial objects are above all my favorite things. I love fairies, and other fantastical creatures like dragons, gnomes and mermaids. I also love butterflies, cats, reptiles, peacocks and pink flamingos. I love zombies, pirates, and ninjas. *I am absolutely not opposed to nudity in art, as long as it is tasteful of course. I think the human body is a work of art itself, and is beautiful and I love it when other artists can portray it as such. I draw and paint a lot of nudes myself, of course they usually end up with wings... *My favorite colors are blue, teal, turquoise, greens, reds, oranges, pinks, well pretty much all of them. I will never tell you not to use certain colors! I like interesting color combos and rainbows, polka dots, and interesting patterns.
*My ears are a 2 guage, I love natural earrings and plugs. I do have 2 other holes in my ears for regular earrings. I can also put hoop like earrings through my guaged holes. I love interesting necklaces, don't really wear bracelets or rings other than my engagement and wedding ones.
*I love tattoos, I have about 73 stars ranging from my feet to my neck.
*I like organic things, lotions, soaps chapstick etc. I love to paint, draw, and make little paintings on my toenails. I like fruity and natural smells, I don't mind incense like nag champa.
*I love to go camping and be outdoors. I love scrap booking, collecting stickers and random crafty things. Antique brooches, pins and jewelry. Foreign teas and candies.

I also love love love Halloween! I get so excited every year. We usually start planning a few months ahead of time for our annual Halloween party. I love to make spooky foods and decorations. If you have ideas let me know!

**Above all, I love art, especially hand drawn and painted art. I love to see what other people can create. I don't care if you don't have the art education, or technical skills, art should be about creation and expression. I'd rather have something hand drawn or painted (even if it's indecipherable) than a collage. Don't get me wrong, some collages are pretty amazing, and I do love them too.

Mean people, squirrels (I think they're evil), most birds, country styles, reality TV, most sappy things and Anne Geddes' baby fairies (They're a little creepy for me). I don't really like perfumey smells. I don't like scratchy fabrics, things that are too frilly, overly religious things, ghetto fabulous and other over the top fashions. *But for the most part I love surprises and seeing what other people can dream up. I don't "Hate" anything and welcome everything. Don't be afraid to surprise me, and send something you'd love to receive yourself, you will not lose points just because it isn't my favorite color. :)
