DISLIKES
I'm not a fan of pink, cute or girly items. If a little girl would love them, then send them to her. I think we can all be a bit more creative than stereotypes. I don't like peanut butter either.
I don't wear makeup either, so don't send it. I'm not a fan of coffee or tea since I can't tolerate caffeine.
MAKE-UP ITEMS
If you want to send me an item in response to a make-up item you have requested, here is a list of ATCs I would like:
Animal alphabet ATCs for the J, L, N, R, V, X and Y.
A mermaid, fish or butterfly of any color.

December 21, 2016:
I have rated all gifts/cards received so far. I will be on vacation for a week. I will register the backlog by the end of the year!
December 2015 update: I will be in England for the last 2 weeks of the year. I will get all of my swaps out before I go, but will not be home to receive yours. The mailman will have a large basket of stuff for me to pick up. Please be patient and I will register the items as soon as possible when I get back!
Christmas Wish list (dollar store)
Wacky packages stickers; small calendar (6X6); note book, Christmas ornament (star); Ribbon; note cards; pretty paper for die cuts, drawing paper; origami paper; State map PCs (see below)
Oct 2015 update: Still waiting on the rain dancers.
Does anyone know how to do a rain dance?
I'm back! We had a great time, but the 13 hours it took to get there was exhausting! Good thing we didn't have any plans for the evening! The weather was great all weekend. Race day started out raining but was dry by the time the boys had to race. We took the "quick" route back but had to sit thorough traffic in Los Angeles and Orange counties. We learned that the one day of the year that San Diego had weather, we were out of town! We got an inch and a half during a month that we NEVER see rain.
I am on vacation July 17 through July 21. If you are waiting for a reply from me during that time, it will have to wait. I don't own a smart phone and won't be checking my profile for a few days.
I have been a member of Postcrossing.com for just over 3 years. I like receiving mail that doesn't have to be sent back with a check in it. :)
I like pretty stamps. All the stamps are great, but if you could send a combination of smaller stamps, I'd appreciate it. I like to see what new stamps have been sent to me each time I go to the mailbox. This goes for international senders too. It's just a little thing to brighten my day.
My preferred subjects for postcards are:
-- Maps and Flags - I want to collect a map and a flag from every state in the US.
--Greeting from ... cards - these have large letters spelling out the name of your city or state with pictures in each letter.
-- Photographs of actual religious buildings - Mormon Temples, Synagogues, Mosques, Cathedrals, Spanish Missions (exteriors please)
-- __ vintage cards__ - Whether a vintage reprint or an actual vintage card, both are OK. I prefer the old cards be in good shape (yellowing is OK).
--Lantern Press & Ranger Dave cards
-- My newest interest is birds. I like fine art drawing and Audobon photographs I'm not interested in cartoons or ugly faces (vultures, etc).
I have many postcards for swap. This is my collection to give: https://plus.google.com/photos/103955174455728682894/albums

I often make my own envelopes for flat mail sends. I use whatever is at hand. Everything from wrapping paper to newspaper works. I like to do origami (modular mathematical models) and paper mache.
SMALL SWAP ITEMS:
* handmade envelopes to fit larger (5X7) US postcards
* origami paper 5 inches or greater
* sheet of paper (9X12 inches or larger) for making my own envelope
* single view postcards with name of view printed on front
* washi tape samples (quality only, no dollar store stuff such as StudioG)
* lace bits of lace to use on cards
* embroidery floss DMC all colors preferred
I read a kindle and don't need any
I am only interested in postcards and the decorations you can put on them
I don't wear it so why would i need it?
RATINGS: I rate each package that arrives. I usually rate the day it arrives. Please do me the courtesy of rating also. It's not so much that I want a specific rating - it's that I want to know that something I sent has arrived. Thanks.
I will ALWAYS rate. If you think I should have received your card/letter/package by now, let me know. I don't like when I'm not rated, so I won't do that to you.
Christmas 2015: I will rate when I get back from vacation, sorry for the inconvenience!
The thing I like most about received items in the mail is when I see something from SwapBot, Postcrossing or Postcard United. When I look at it and realize that you actually read my ENTIRE profile, you can't imagine how great that feels inside. To know that someone cared about what they sent instead of just cramming things into an envelope.

Thank you so much for the great PCs you sent me in the PTG January WTA - I love them all. The 'someone needs a hug' one is perfect for a friend of mind who lives far away. . . and the affection one is just sweet. The Yellow Submarine PC is just too awesome! Thanks again and hope you'll be playing in the February WTA ~~
There are so many negative things on TV & everywhere you turn,.. esp on this election day!
I want to share this with you lovely ladies today!!!

Just wanted to reach out and 1) First apologize for not messaging sooner, I was busy with my sons Prom & Graduation....and 2) Your partner has a US Address in their profile as an alternative sending address. I reached out to your partner too. I hope this helps alleviate any confusion and you pointed out something I very much needed to be aware of and will be sure to follow up on in the future.
Thank you for the awesome cards for the PTG WTA! :D
